QUALITIES OF HUMAN TEMPERAMENT.

Yoga suggests that there are three major qualities of human temperament:

Tamas Dullness Aversion, sloth, ignorance, inertia, and depression.
Rajas Excitement Desire, reaction, restlessness, over-excitement, and mania.
Sattva Balance Holistic health, integration, consistency, mind, intelligence, sanity, and wisdom.
