Defender Of Your Own Inner World / Being Successfully Assertive.
The warrior is all about being assertive with outer attacks (mental, emotional) and also with our own inner attacks (from the martyr, the masochist, the hurt inner child, the angry teenager, unnecessary guilt, denial, repression).
So basically the warrior protects our being from anything that is giving us an unwarranted "hard time".
Not as attacker, but as defender of our internal landscape. The warrior defends our inner self and often outer self from abuse, invasion, interrogation, and tyranny.
The warrior then is the ability to assert ourselves with others (outer disturbances) and also, just as importantly, with ourselves (inner disturbances).
