Watching Ourselves.

This is a certain method of cultivating detachment and awareness.

  • For a set amount of time each day, watch yourself, your thoughts, desires, actions and all round behaviour patterns and habits. Don't judge, just watch. Then we can begin to get to know ourselves, without fear or condemnation. In this way we can understand that which we need to attend to, to improve, to change.

  • It may make it easier if you actually think and say;

    "What is this man (or woman) doing now?"

    "What is she thinking or desiring at this present moment?"

  • "What is s/he trying to achieve?"

  • This manner of watching also helps increase the psychological space between being and mind.

 


It is One BEING who is the watcher of the One Mind - The Manifest Universe and all it's Creations.
