Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha. Bindu Visarga. At the rear top corner of the head, where the Hindu brahmins grow a small tuft of hair, is a point known as bindu. This is a very mysterious psychic center and is also known as the soma chakra. It is symbolized by a tiny crescent moon on a moonlit night. It is also associated with production of semen in the male, the meaning of the word bindu being 'a point or drop'. In the ancient science of kriya yoga, bindu is a highly important center of concentration used to perceive the psychic sounds which manifest there.
