Relating
to the Chakras.
Chakras are not just energy centres along the human spine, they also represent the way in which we relate to the various aspects of life that the chakras represent.
If we exercise regularly, eat correctly, and look after out bodies, then we have a healthy relationship with our base chakra. If we cannot sustain relationships, use others as an audience, and have a lousy love life, then we could be said to have a unhealthy relationship with our second chakra.
Accepting, Respecting, and Understanding the Qualities of the Chakras. Each chakra represents aspects and qualities of human behaviour. These qualities are those things which make a human being. As a species, we all share the same broad catagories of qualities, and individually we all relate to and express these qualities with a subtle difference - which is what makes diversity so varied. The first understanding that I feel is important, is to respect the chakras and those qualities that they represent. For instance, if we respect our selves - holisitcally - as a whole, then we will form good and healthy relationships with ourselves and others. By accepting and respecting all the chakras, then we take a noble step onto the path of wisdom - we shall begin to accept, love and respect ourselves and others. By studying, understanding and experiencing the aspects of the chakras, we will understand and know the manifestation, and the Absolute qualities of existence. We may also find it useful to view the aspects of human behaviour that the chakras represent - mental, emotional, physical, and their diverse and various combinations - in the style of a pie chart. The challenge is a matter of keeping the "pie" - our lives - balanced! If we experience too much or too little of one of the aspects, then the other areas of our lives will become deficient and we will be out of balance. Exercise.
