"À l’occasion du centenaire de la Délégation archéologique française en Afghanistan (DAFA), le MNAAG présente une vaste exposition consacrée à ce siècle de découvertes et de relations avec l’Afghanistan. Grâce aux partages des objets issus des fouilles, se sont ainsi constituées à Paris les collections afghanes les plus belles d’Occident. L’exposition offre au public un panorama des nombreuses recherches menées tout en soulignant l’importance du patrimoine archéologique et des collections muséales, mais aussi du patrimoine bâti de ce pays sur lequel pèse toujours une menace latente depuis le retour au pouvoir des Talibans le 15 août 2021..."
