A close-up image of a single footprint that is surrounded by black seeds. A NPS ruler is adjacent to provide size context. Footprint measures over 150mm.

Seeds were commonly found near the fossilized footprints, which were used in carbon dating the age of the footprints. These seeds allowed researchers to estimate the age of these footprints around 21,000-23,000 years old.
