English: Plasma of 100 million degrees is confined in a vacuum. This is a view of the vacuum vessel from the inside. Superconducting coils are placed on the other side of the twisted vacuum vessel wall, and the strong magnetic field created by the coils floats the plasma so that it does not come into contact with the wall. |
