Description

La méthode expéditive utilisée en Inde pour élargir les rues trop étroites, comme ici à Orchha, consiste à abattre au Bulldozer les parties des maisons qui sont frappées d'alignement ! Les façades seront ensuite reconstruites (on espère). Les habitants continuent à habiter leurs maisons en partie ruinées durant les travaux et les petits commerçants (comme à droite sur la photo) se réinstallent devant les ruines.

La méthode est la même au Népal comme on peut l'observer dans de nombreuses rue de Katmandou.
