File:Grappling policial-jpg.tif Mistakenly removed
[edit]Hi @Gbawden i hope this message finds you well, today the picture "File:Grappling policial-jpg.tif" has been removed from wikicommons under the suspect that is not my own image. Well, it is. In the message you plead that you have seen that image on the web elsewhere. That's surely not the case, the only media that that image has been published is at the newspapper "El Mundo" from Spain, because i have given them permission.

Commons deletion request of images, uploaded by Marketing ANKER
[edit]Hi @Gbawden, Thank you for keeping your eyes open to make Wikipedia a safe space in terms of image usage and according copyrights. As indicated on my "about me" page, I am responsible for the Marketing of the company ANKER, in which article the images are used. The pictures have been taken on the company premises and the copyrights are with ANKER. Commons Mass Deletion Request Problem

Could you please help? I'm trying to list [| This] on Commons:Deletion_requests but when I try to use the code listed on Commons:Deletion_requests/Mass_deletion_request the preview spams the page with all the images. Can you please help? It's been about 12 years since I did any editing on wikipedia and have forgotten all the tricks for making links etc. Keetanii (talk) 10:47, 8 September 2024 (UTC)

Hi Gbawden, I'm not a Commons regular so I hesitate to monkey with the templates directly. But you tagged the file File:Louis I Woolf 1972.jpg with {{No permission since}} on Sept 3rd. Under "Source" the file page links to the paper I grabbed the image from here which states "This article is an open access article distributed under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)" (it's mildly hard to find; you have to click "Copyright and License Information" near the top to uncollapse it). - Hi. In cases like this its important to give the url for the source so we can find the license. We can't to that when the source is just text. I updated it for you Gbawden (talk) 07:08, 9 September 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hola, no entiendo el motivo del borrado de esa imagen. La hija de la persona que sale en la imagen es la dueña de la foto. Y me la envió expresamente para poder utilizarla en wikipedia.
