Akanishtha

Akanishtha (Skt. akaniṣṭha; P. akaniṭṭha; T. 'og min འོག་མིན་; C. sejiujing tian 色究竟天) is translated as "highest," "unexcelled," etc. It is identified as:
- the fifth and highest of the "five pure abodes" (śuddhāvāsa)
- the highest level of the form realm (rūpadhātu)
It is the domain of the non-returners (anāgāmi) and some arhats.[1]
