Antarakalpa

antarakalpa (T. bar bskal, བར་བསྐལ་), or intermediate eon, is an intermediary period of time between the beginning and end of a "great eon" (mahākalpa).
In the Sanskrit tradition, antarakalpa can refer to:
- one of the four main divisions of a mahākalpa (the eons of formation, duration, destruction, and voidness)[1]
- the twenty periods of time that compose each of these four main divisions[2]
