Atyantaparokṣa

atyantaparokṣa (T. ཤིན་ཏུ་ལྐོག་གྱུར་) is translated as "extremely hidden phenomena," "extremely obscure phenomena," etc. Extremely hidden phenomena are things that can be known only to a buddha (e.g., the particular effects of karma).

For an ordinary person, this type of phenomena that can only be established through recourse to scriptural quotation.[1]

This is one of two types of hidden phenomena (parokṣa), the other being "slightly hidden phenomena" (kiṃcidparokṣa).
