cittaikāgratā (P. cittekaggatā; T. sems rtse gcig pa; C. xin yijing xing) is translated as "one-pointedness of mind." It is a "deep state of meditative equipoise in which the mind is thoroughly concentated on the object of meditation."[1]
It is associated with the stages of dhyāna.
In the Pali tradition, cittekaggatā [alt. citt'ekaggatā] is sometimes uses interchangably with the mental factor of ekaggatā, which is one of the seven universal mental factors in the Pali Abhidharma. Though it seems that cittekaggatā is referring to a specific (higher) level of ekaggatā.
