Khema

Khema (Skt. Kṣemā; P. Khemā; T. Dge ma དགེ་མ་; C. Anwen) was a bhikkhuni, or nun, who was one of the top female disciples of the Buddha. According to tradition, the Buddha declared her his female disciple foremost in wisdom.
