Buddhist modernism

I found the wikipedia article confusing, seemed in need of a major rewrite if we use it. Went back in its history, early version was more understandable but it was focused on Suzuki and Zen Buddhism, and might well need checking being an early draft, meanwhile found an abstract by McMahan in one of the sources.

For now, decided to just do a quote from the abstract of David McMahan's book on the subject for now, as that is straightforward and clear.

Rangtong and Shentong - Rime Approach

I know this is a particularly heated debate in Tibetan Buddhism. Instead of the attempt at a combined article in Wikipedia summarizing them both - I've just quoted the relevant section from the introduction of Ringo Tulku's book. Left the separate articles "as is" but with a link to the Rime article at the end of the lede.

I really like this approach. - Dorje108 (talk) 04:00, 3 June 2018 (UTC)
