Buddhas of the three times

Buddhas of the three times (T. dus gsum sangs rgyas) refers to all the buddhas of the past, present and future. In Tibetan Buddhist art, the buddhas of the three times are typically represented by:[1]
- Buddha Dipankara (representing the buddhas of the past),
- Gautama Buddha (the buddha of our present age), and
- Buddha Maitreya (representing the buddhas future).
In other traditions, the "buddha of the past" may be represented by Kashyapa or another buddha.[2][3]
