Why do you have copies of Wikipedia articles on your site?

Copying an article from Wikipedia allows us to quickly add an article on a specific topic. If the article is labelled as a "copy (clone)", this means it was imported from Wikipedia with minimal editing. Some of these imported articles are in good shape, some are require further vetting and editing. Over time, we will review the imported articles and edit it as needed.

How are these copies identified?

A copy (clone) is marked with a tag similar to this:

This is a copy of a Wikipedia article. See latest Wikipedia version here.

Or if we have modified the article in some way, but it is still is mostly a copy of a Wikipedia article, then it may be tagged like this:

This is a copy of a Wikipedia article, with minor modifications. See latest Wikipedia version here.

Are you consistent in labeling articles as clones?

Not completely, but most of the significant articles that are copied from Wikipedia are labelled as such. It's a process.
