kāmacchanda (T. 'dod pa la 'dun chags འདོད་པ་ལ་འདུན་ཆགས་; C. yutan 欲貪) is translated as "sensual pleasure," "sensuous gratification," etc. It is an intesification of mere kāma (sensuality).[1]
Kāmachanda is identified as one of the five hindrances. In this context, it is an obstacle to achieving meditative absorption (dhyana).
