khaḍgaviṣāṇa (P. khaggavisāṇa; T. bse ru; C. linjiao 麟角), literally "rhinoceros," is a metaphor found in the sutras for a solitary way of life, such as that presumably pursued by a rhinoceros.[1]
The benefits of this approach are presented in the Rhinoceros Sutra and other texts.
