Padma family

padma family (Skt. padmakula; T. pad ma'i rigs པད་མའི་རིགས་) is one of the "five families" (pañcakula), according to Buddhist tantra.[1]

This family is presided over by the Tathāgata Amitabha.

The Padma family is associated with enlightened speech and discriminating wisdom.[2]
