Prayoga (T. sbyor ba; C. jiaxing 加行) has multiple meanings in Buddhism. Common meanings include:
- trainings; practices[1]
- commitment of an action; one of the four factors determining the completion of an action[1]
- preliminaries to an actual practice.[1]
- preparation[1][2]
- joining together[2]
- exertion[2]
In Buddhist logic, prayoga refers to formal statement that contains a subject, object and predicate.[2] In this context the term is typically translated as "syllogism."[2]
