samāhita (T. mnyam bzhag མཉམ་བཞག་; C. dengyin) is translated as "equipoise," "meditative equipoise," "evenly resting," etc.

The term is used to describe a level of attainment (samāpatti) within meditation pratice. According to Buswell, different models of meditation have different ways of incorporating the notion of samāhita as an attainment.[1]
