Shijey (T. zhi byed). A practice lineage founded by Padampa Sangye at the beginning of the 12th century, and propagated the practice of Chöd ritual in Tibet.[1]

The Shyijé school didn't last very long as an independent lineage but its teachings were incorporated into the other Tibetan schools.[2]

One of the eight practice lineages.
