Sugatagarbha

Sugatagarbha (T. bde bar gshegs pa'i snying po) literally means "sugata-essence",[1] "enlightened essence",[1] or "essense of the sugata".[2] The term is synonomous with tathāgatagarbha,[2] and is commonly translated as "buddha nature."
