William S. Waldron

William S. Waldron is a Buddhist studies scholar specializing in the Yogācāra tradition. He is the author of The Buddhist Unconscious: The Alaya-vijñana in the context of Indian Buddhist Thought.
He received his PhD in Buddhist studies from the University of Wisconsin after studying in India, Nepal and Japan.[1] He is currently on the faculty of Middlebury College, Vermont, where he teaches courses on the South Asian religious traditions of Hinduism and Buddhism, Tibetan religion and history, comparative psychologies and philosophies of mind, and theory and method in the study of religion.[2]
