Remember
Whatsoever you bring to the conscious from the unconscious, you become free of it.
But humanity has been doing just the opposite. We have been told to repress, to throw things from the conscious to the unconscious. In a way, you appear to have got free of them - but they have sunk deeper in you. Now they will control you from the unconscious and you will not even be aware of them.
Nothing has to be by passed, everything has to be lived, loved, experienced, absorbed, so that you become as rich as possible.
Total relaxation is the ultimate. That's the moment when one becomes a Buddha. That is the moment of Self-Realization, Enlightenment, Christ-consciousness.
Forms go on changing, but not the substance; garments go on changing, but not the inner soul and spirit.
Tension means hurry, fear, and doubt - a constant effort to protect, to be secure, to be safe.
Tension means the past that you have not lived really, but only somehow bypassed; it hangs; it is a hangover. These unlived moments create the subconscious mind .
This shadow surrounds you, permeates the thoughts and deeds of every waking moment.
Any experience that has not been lived will hang around you, will persist: "Finish me! Live me! Complete me." There is an intrinsic quality in every experience that it tends and wants to be finished, completed.
Once completed, it evaporates.
Incomplete, it persists, it tortures you, it haunts. It becomes the subconscious mind and it must be dealt with if we are to live a healthy, useful, happy, and productive life. It cannot be ignored. The more we repress, the more it exerts. We become disturbed - diseased in body, emotion, and mind. The inner soul, the existential being, cannot live and we feel suffocated, trapped, frustrated and unhappy.
Your whole past hangs around you with nothing completed -- because nothing has been lived fully. And between the past and the future, the present is crushed, the only reality for our true Being, the only real space to Be.
You can go to the parts of the body that are in tension and persuade that part, say to lovingly "Relax!" This is the whole point and process of Hatha Yoga - the yoga of the physical body and all those postures (asanas).
Hatha yoga has been designed to keep the body healthy, supple, and relaxed so that we can travel further along the spiritual path. Don't stop off at the Hatha Yoga station and think that it is the end of the journey. It's just the beginning and it's a very good and
We can't get enlightened by physical posturing alone. We need a little more to get us to God and to help us to live in the world.
More complex, it will take a little longer - but it happens. We can accelerate our mind's relaxation by relaxing breathing (Pranayama) and Meditation. We can also read from great spiritual works - like the traditional works of the Bhagavad Gita, Bible, Koran, or more contemporary spiritual works - this really helps and is a powerful tool in becoming enlightened.
We can inform the mind about peace, love, wisdom, God, tranquility, contentment, satisfaction. With sensitivity, intelligence and practice, reading can be a beautiful meditation
The world of feelings and emotions - more complex, more subtle - but now you will be moving with trust, with a great trust in yourself.
And you will be able to relax it too. You will be full of bliss and rejoicing. Your life will have a quality of dance to it.
The whole of existence is dancing, except man!
No hurry, no haste, no worry, no waste
God is the whole of the existence. The couple is a higher unit than the single, the family a higher unit than the couple. God is nothing but the communion of all - the greatest family of all. Disappear in the whole, become absorbed in the whole. Remain an individual but be part of the whole. Meaning arises whenever you become part of a greater UNITY.
"We are all born unique and our flowering is also unique - yet we are all part of the whole existence and nothing can be compared with another. Therefore, respect your own being and respect others too!"
Each of us has a unique center - our own being, as well as shared oneness (center) with existence. Through meditation and your relationship with life - seek out your true center. Body, Mind, Heart, Soul.
Do not avoid experience, however painful it may appear to be. Growth is painful, but you will reap the rewards. Experience fully whatsoever life brings to you.
If you find yourself in a prison - of your own or mutual constrictions - then honesty is the best policy.
Simply admit; "I have been in a prison for all these years" - many, many lifetimes!
No one can reach the prisoner until they open the door. We need to make the first move. Then life, love, and salvation can reach us.
