Autonomy and the conditioned Personality.

"As we think, so we become."

Until we have attained some degree of freedom from our conditioned personality, then we will always be "what others have perceived us to be." Authoritative people in the early years of our life influence the way we think, feel, and behave, because they build within us this false, conditioned personality.

 

LEVELS AND TYPES OF HUMAN CONDITIONING

“As the mind, so the person.”

It is a common modern expression to say “We are the masters of our own mind”, “My mind is my own” but do we really acknowledge and understand the deep influences that have worked on our mind from the day we were born?

INHERITED CONDITIONINGS

All conditioning influences the expressions and functioning’s of our total mind which is represented by the seven chakras.

  1. KARMIC CONDITIONING: Those tendencies with which we are born with. Every person is born with differing tendencies and personality qualities. This is a completely documented fact.
  2. FAMILY AND ANCESTRAL CONDITIONING: All the attitudes, opinions, tendencies and holistic habits that are given to us by our family. We pick up these deep conditionings throughout our formative years in our youth. These conditionings are transferred to us in each chakra and deeply influence our developing personality: physical, emotional, mental, and auric.
  3. GROUP AND PEER CONDITIONING: More influence upon our life perspective and attitude comes from the first groups outside of the family that we interact with.
  4. SOCIETAL, NATIONAL, RELIGIOUS, AND CULTURAL CONDITIONING: How do these larger more amorphous groups influence our developing mind/personality/world view? Each one of these groups has a history and a particular life-view which will influence us depending upon how aware and perceptive we are to the type of world view and life-attitude each group represents.
  5. HISTORICAL TIME CONDITIONING: Influences from the general atmosphere and events of the time scenario that we live in.

 

IS IT AN ATTITUDE OF LOVE?

It’s all looking a bit complicated. So, we might like to ask ourselves that beautiful leveler of a question;

“Are these conditionings I have in my mind/personality an act and attitude of love?”

Because quite simply, without a mind and heart of love then our personality is going to bring ourselves and others unhappiness and sorrow – that’s a fact.

If we live under the unconscious dictates of the conditioned mind/personality, then we will have very little freedom to choose the type of thoughts that we wish to think and thus the manner in which we feel and behave is severely restricted.

First, we must liberate ourselves from the confines of this conditioned personality, so that we are free to choose - consciously.
