Nirgrantha-Jñātīputra

Nirgrantha-Jñātīputra (P. Nigaṇṭha-Nātaputta; T. gcer bu pa gnyen gyi bu; C. Nijiantuo Ruotizi 尼揵陀若提子) (599–527 BCE). The name commonly used in Buddhist texts to refer to the leader of the Jainas. He is also known by his title Mahāvīra (Great Victor).[1]
"In Pāli sources, Nātaputta (as he is usually called) is portrayed as the Buddha’s senior contemporary."[1]
