Samantabhadra (T. kun tu bzang po ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་པོ་; C. Puxian; J. Fugen; K. Pohyŏn 普賢) has multiple connotations. According to Tsepak Rigdzin, this term can refer to:[1]
- Those existents that are pure or virtuous throughout all of its parts.
- The sphere of reality (dharmadhātu) or the nature truth body (dharmakāya).
- Buddha Samantabhadra (aka. tathāgata samantabhadra).
- Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, one of the eight close sons of Buddha Shakyamuni.
- According to the Bon tradition, the complete enjoyment body (sambhogakāya).
