Nicene and post Nicene fathers of the Christian church is an immense work in 14 volumes of early Christian writings. It complements the series on the Ante-Nicene Fathers, we also have here on holybooks.com. Together the writings outline the progress of Christianity through the life and works of the very early Christian scholars and thinkers that led to the foundation of the churches and the great theological controversies of the fourth through sixth centuries. These works have for decades been the standard reference for those interested in the church fathers, the origin of Christianity, the Bible and history in general.

Above you state that there are 2 different sets. The download list shows 14 volumes; from what set are these volumes and where are the volumes from the other set? –Thanks
One can find all early church fathers’ writings at:
https://www.ccel.org
late 1700s to present is a short time gap to say ALL. The 10th volume probably starts in the 1700s.
Take a look at volume 3-6 and tell me which year those histories are from. ;) it won’t be anywhere close to 1700s.
Correction, your volume 14 is from the first series, not the second.
You have combined 2 different sets. There are 2 separate, 14-volume sets, with different writings. The first set is from 1886 and lists Philip Schaff as the only editor. You’ve uploaded volumes 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 10, 12 & 13 from this set. The second set of 14 (listed as “second series”) is from 1917 and lists Schaff along with a second editor, Henry Wace. You’ve uploaded volumes 5, 6, 7, 9, 11 & 14 of this set. They aren’t the same material, FYI.
Unfortunately the information here not only does not cover the early father’s I want to study, but is biased against the Orthodox teachings of great fathers like St. Simeon the New Theologian and St. Gregory Palamas.
