The Epic of Gilgamesh is an ancient manuscript more than 3.000 years old. It was carved in 12 tablets by the Sumerians in Mesopotamia. More of the stories in Gilgamesh have close relationship to the Christian Bible. For example the Garden of Eden and Noah’s Flood seems to derive from the Epic of Gilgamesh. It has also inspired Homer’s works, parts of the Iliad for instance has some interesting similarities. From the book:
“Gilgamesh bent his knees, with his other foot on the ground, his anger abated and he turned his chest away. After he turned his chest Enkidu said to Gilgamesh: “Your mother bore you ever unique, the Wild Cow of the Enclosure, Ninsun, your head is elevated over (other) men, Enlil has destined for you the kingship over the people.”

Looking at the things that the mesiah have done in his life time eh!. Does it mean sehh it has not existed?

Rather a strange (and misspelled, btw) comment about which I wonder what it has to do with the work shared here…

Wao what a wonderful story
“An very interesting book#”
this is such a wonderful story to come across. it is filled with knowledge on the behavior of a nephilim and the ways of such an ancient king that looks queer from our times of now. it is funny, epic, and brews questions that get answered while we read along.
Was cited in the ’90’s in Star Trek: TNG, Episode “Darmok” and used as a reflection to relate to another civilization… Well worth the read, and, even if one is not into SciFi, it’s an episode worth seeing.
The relationship between the alien and Capt. Picard was based upon the relationship between Gilgamesh and Enkidu.
