The Science of Getting Rich. Some months ago the successful ‘Rich Dad’ author Robert Kiyosaki was in Copenhagen. He drew full houses and sold a lot of books to local fans. Every decade it seems to have its own “how-to-get-rich author”. I remember those books from the 90´about how to visualize your way to fortunes. Later the ‘Law of Attraction’ book series, which for sure made the author Michael J. Losier very rich. As for so many other subjects I was delighted the other day to see that again, there is nothing new under the sun.

Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles was published in 1910. Wallace was a part of the New Thought movement of writers. They shared a set of beliefs about metaphysics and positive thinking. The author outlines a practical way of attaining wealth by spiritual discipline. He refers to the ‘The monistic theory of the universe—the theory that One is All, and that All is One. He argues that one Substance manifests itself as the seeming many elements of the material world. He believes this concept to be of Hindu origin and to be the foundation of all the Oriental philosophies. – And of those of Descartes, Spinoza, Leibnitz, Schopenhauer, Hegel, and Emerson.

I am so grateful that I was able to print this book. I cannot express in words how this book was able to reassure me that I am worthy of being rich and that being rich is not just good for me but good for others as well. It eliminates all doubts that I was not worthy of being rich and that wanting to be rich was selfish and unjust. This book explained exactly how I have been thinking but did not know how to say. This is the only book that I will read over and over again. Other books and videos put doubt in my head but this book changed all of that.
