Kushinagar (also known as Kusinagar, Kusinara, Kasia and Kasia Bazar) is the name of town in northern India where the Buddhists believe that Gautama Buddha passed into Parinirvana.

Kushinagar is one of the four main pilgrimage sites for Buddhist pilgrims.

The town is located in the Kushinagar district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, 52 km east of Gorakhpur city.
