"IF THE MAP IS CORRECT - SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE SURELY FOLLOWS" - SATCHIDANAND

GOLDEN LIGHT SURGES INTO MY BRAIN...

"A POINT OF LIGHT EXPLODES, it opens and golden light surges in to my brain from the center of my head. Like liquid light it fills me up and at the same time the universe is born, the light expands forming energies that divide and merge forming particles eventually forming atoms, molecules which form stardust stars solar systems galaxies, planets and the they form life, living cells that connect to form a physical brain, manifestation of the cosmic mind and consciousness, eventually reaching my cortex and I open my eyes and remember my self.

My center is the center of the universe, the circle is complete! I am absolutely everything. All time is curved around me, all galactic systems are me, all life is me and I am through this small body I am complete. My personal mind goes in to absolute shock, into hysterical laughter that I cannot stop. I am overflowing billion times billion. Infinite amount of information fills me in a timeless time, my consciousness is flowing from the beginningless beginning of all reaching the final destination of all.

The grand cycle is complete and I encounter all the infinite forms of existence as well as the formless forms of enlightenment beings, the future. I am, one with my self from the future! From the times of conscious creation. There is only space, all of my meridians are ONE! Stretching through all the creation. Then I leave my body and I am guided through many things that I cannot explain or remember in my current state."

As we were talking well into the night at the end of our Energy Enhancement Course at Iguassu together.

After he has removed many energy blockages over the last four weeks. Blockages above the crown chakra in the Antahkarana which were preventing him from re-connecting with the Source of all Life. He described one of the blockages between one million and Infinity of chakras above the head as a dense translucent crystal which was incredibly difficult to remove, different from the other blockages which he had found below it which were dense and covered with a black tarry substance or blood and which were more easy to transmute and dissolve.

We eventually get into a state of energy transfer. We both feel it as white light flowing from one to the other in an incredibly intense way which lasts for two hours. At the end of that time I perceive an initiation which is taking place on the astral plane. Surrounded by a group of ascended masters I introduce him to the chief initiator who uses the rod of initiation to touch his third eye with the intense energies of initiation so that his energies can never again drop into that state we call normal waking consciousness.

Never to lose the Light of Enlightenment, ever again!!

THOMAS BLAIR'S REPORT FROM THE ASHRAM OF SATHYA SAI BABA JULY 9TH 2010

I have been to see Satchi & Devi almost once a year since 2005, and I have to say, that I have never been let down. Every time they greet me at the airport I am received in an atmosphere of great warmth, positivity and generosity, into which I soon relax and know that it’s safe to be me with all my “luggage”. In June 2010 I recently went on a 6 week course they were holding in India.

In the weeks I spent with them it was clear that the blockages I was removing with their help, were increasing the amount of energy flowing through me during meditation. I have never been one to naturally take to meditating, but with these new experiences of Samadhi (sam – with, adhi – the light), it was certainly making it possible for me to sit for much longer periods.

I must concede, that on more than one occasion I started to object and complain about what we were doing, and the methods employed to transmute the blockages in my being. Satchi & Devi would patiently wait for me to see that the person complaining was not the real me, it was not the soul infused personality that I really am, but rather the voice of the blockages that did not want to go. There are different types of blockages, and of course, the easy ones are the first to go, but I was now experiencing some really tough ones. They can certainly be very cunning these blockages, and its thanks to the experience and energy of Satchi & Devi that I was able to continue on my way to overcome some really strong blockages.

My experiences of Samadhi: The first time I experienced anything other than a calm mind in meditation was actually the very first course I attended with Satchi & Devi in Spain. The experience of energy surging through my body was first felt in my 1st and 2nd chakras. It was like having champagne bubbling away in my lower abdomen. Before I talk about my experience here in India, I think it would be useful to describe briefly and partly a technique used to commence the flow of energy and so the entry into Samadhi. It’s to do with using the mind to visualise chakras above the head and below the base chakra to infinity. For me, the concept of infinity and trying to imagine this distance above my head, kind of triggered a bypass switch in my mind, and all of a sudden my mind was quite literally replaced by a surge of electricity and light – Samadhi.

"If the Map is Correct, Experiences Follow" - Satchidanand

This time here in India I was experiencing different levels of Samadhi. During meditation I notice the attainment of a constant flow of energy through my being which gets more and more intense, and rises further and further up my body, the higher I go up the chakras above my head to an inconceivably bright and intense sun. Quite often my breathing slows or even stops a while at the head of an in-breath as my head feels infused with light. My body feels like it is being purified, and in fact it is, as light is being shone through me. I always finish the meditation feeling more positive about my life and the world around me and a feeling that really everything is ok.

Over and above this, I receive what I would describe as bolts of light lasting between 2-5 seconds.

During these brief moments, I am no longer a body with senses or even a sense of weighing or being anything, and am unable to think.

"In the Buddhafield we find we can Move On More Quickly!" - Satchidanand

It’s my experience that the body is like a resistor in an electronic circuit. The more blockages we have, the greater the resistance to the light. By removing a significant number of blockages, I have reduced the resistance of my gross and subtle body, and am now able to sit in Samadhi with ease. And of course, the more light I can sit in, the more blockages I can remove - now that’s what I call spiritual progress!

"J" JULY 2010

Beloved Satchiji and Mataji,

I know you did something, whether consciously or not doesn’t matter. I can only bow to your lotus feet in sweet gratitude for your help.

The details of the depth and intensity of what I’ve been going through the last several weeks aren’t worth mentioning. Perhaps I’m dealing with extra-heavy stuff or maybe everyone goes through this when they find the real, honest Truth that EE is. I don’t know, but I can tell you that I sincerely pray for all your students–past, present and future–that no one else should have to experience this as I am. I do not believe that I am being lazy or will-less when I reaffirm that I really think I have to come to a live course before I will see any real success.

S Sometimes, when people enter into the Buddhafield, and this is not only with Energy Enhancement, but also with Osho, Sri Sathya Sai baba, Yogananda, etc. they are pushed through their karma very quickly. Its symbol is the Tower of the Tarot. “Struck by Lightning, Struck by Lightning!” – Bilbo Baggins, the Hobbit. And it means that when an Initiatory channel is opened to the student, the work of purification begins. This is the destruction of Shiva, the Lightning of Zeus, so that a new opening can begin and the Pheonix can arise again from the ashes. It is very much like being burnt with spiritual fire; the real cannot be changed; the unreal is burnt away.

I worked the last 6 days and “should have” gone in again today, but I chose to lock the door, turn off the phone, and spend my New Moon/Solar Eclipse Sunday in front of my computer to complete watching DVD 1 of Level 2. I have just now accomplished my goal and I am amazed that this window was opened for me. What a blessing.

I had to burst out in laughter as I listened to Initiation 9, the first Initiation of Level 2, because I immediately knew why I had been psychically paralyzed from moving past Track 8 until I wrote to you last week (which took a tremendous amount of effort to break through even to do that!).

ENERGY ENHANCEMENT Initiation 9, Track 9 is perhaps the most powerful, insightful, cosmic, depth-charging piece I’ve ever experienced in all my lifetimes—I literally felt the gears locking into place as I watched and listened. I was receiving downloads in my soul throughout that remain there untapped consciously for now, but I could feel their luminosity and comfort.

I’m spiritually energized but physically exhausted and I have a long, tough week ahead. Now I must stop for the evening and prepare for tomorrow and the week.

I don’t know if I sufficiently expressed my awe and thankfulness earlier but I could never have had this glorious day without your help, and I wanted you to know that I know that. And I appreciate it beyond words. Thank you sincerely.

With deep love and respect,

"J"

Lucid dreams and Enlightenment
July 9th, 2010 by coord
Have you ever thought what it would be like if life was just another dream?

You lie down, fall asleep, and slip into a dream. You would not have any memories of when you entered the dream. In fact, you would believe that that the dream world is the real world. You experience the ups and downs of the dream. Sometimes, dreams are sweet and you feel happy. Othertimes, you go thelrough nightmares and you wake up feeling horrified. No matter what happens to you in the dream, you must eventually wake up. When you do, you will realize that it was all just a DREAM! You are relieved that it is not real.

What if life was like this?

There is a term called “lucid dream” which describe the process of becoming conscious of being inside a dream. When this happens – when you realize that you are dreaming inside a dream – you literally gain control over everything that occurs in your dream. You can walk through walls, fly, and teleport instantly from place to place. You become the creator in your own little world, that place which is your dream.

Now, if you become enlightened, it is very similar to a lucid dream. You become aware of your true nature – who you really are. You realize that everything that is in front of you – everything you thought mattered – your body, your house, your job, your life – is a just a part of a dream – then you realize that you will one day wake up and the only thing you can take with you is the lessons – the evolution that you have gained by being in the dream. Become enlightened – and it becomes just like a lucid dream. You are no longer trapped in the limitations of your own dream. You become free – the freedom to do whatever you want – the creator in your very own little world. No matter who you are, no matter what you do, it’s inevitable that you will eventually wake up. It’s true you can live for thousands of years with meditation, but even these people have to wake up one day. And who would want to stay asleep in a dream forever anyway? Energy enhancement can help you achieve this. Become enlightened. Then you will realize that this is really nothing more than talk in a dream.

Karma and Energy Enhancement
July 4th, 2010 by coord
Hey! The blog is back!

Anyway, I wasn’t really prepared for this. Usually, it takes a whole week for me to come up with an interesting topic to discuss on this blog. So, right now, I’ll just put down whatever passing thought comes to mind. I’m not promising anything.

The topic of karma is a complex and yet simple subject matter. Energy enhancement claims that all the negative karma masses can be grounded and erased in one go. This is a very advanced approach to karma and I think it can only be successful if you draw on the energy of your guru.

Traditionally in the east, we use celibacy and emptiness meditations to collect energy by ourselves. This is a very long and tiresome process, as we need a long time and merit for this process to work. Enlightenment is usually something we try to achieve on our own, by ourselves (with some occasional assistance from the guru) and sometimes there are fox spirits that need your help… and then there are those troublesome illusions before you break through samadhi…well Energy Enhancement, a revolutionary spiritual cultivation system, skips over all of that.

I’m not that far in the Energy Enhancement course yet, but I believe the course teaches ways of protecting yourself very early on (before it reaches the samyama lessons) to protect yourself against these negative entities and also prevent you from absorbing other people’s negative energies. This has been a big problem in the east – as that is the reason many seclude themselves – because it’s very painful to be around people who have not grounded all their negative energies.

To sum it up, Energy Enhancement is an accelerated path to enlightenment. The very idea of this goes against the notion of karma, but that is the nature of divine intervention. Don’t take my words too seriously, these words are like talk in a dream. =)

Pranayama + Weight Training = ?
May 8th, 2010 by coord
I don’t remember much of what has happened this week. It seems sleep processes away all the thoughts of the busy mind and leave you with a more awake and more empty mind. Maybe we don’t need ten hours of sleep… maybe we can do just as well on six or seven, if we supplement it with meditation and celibacy.

There are many different distractions in our world today – I think I already mentioned this in the last post – these distractions tend to take you off the path of enlightenment, to delay time and prolong your road to happiness. Even many harmless things like movies, games, and ads have some distractions in them, and it is up to us to not be distracted, but continue on doing what we need to do, even with these distractions right in front of us.

I’ve been mixing the Breath of Fire – one kind of pranayama with weight training, and I’m surprised that my muscles aren’t tired after many reps. I can’t lift more weights, but weight training, which is an anaerobic exercise is turned into an aerobic exercise with pranayama. I don’t know if this is any good to the body, but I feel my energy level enhanced by weight training instead of being tired and feel like going to sleep afterwards.

Sleep is the best way to get energy before Energy Enhancement
May 1st, 2010 by coord
I’ve been finding a good way to make use of daily commute time for spiritual development. On an ordinary day, it usually takes me three hours to get to and come back from work. So, basically I download a bunch of videos from the Internet. They can be from Youtube, or wherever and I watch them while I sit in the seat on the bus or when I stand holding one of the poles on the subway. It’s a great way of using your time. I see a lot of people reading newspapers and novels on the subway, that may also be something you want to do. Three hours is a lot of time, and we shouldn’t just waste it. Sometimes, I like to close my eyes and do a little meditation. It would only seem like you are taking a nap to other people.

There’s not really a lot to say. I’ve been quite busy in the last week. One thing I’ve noticed is that sleep is really important, especially for those people who are not at a decent level of meditation. It replenishes your energy and energy is what gives you control over the things you do during the day. Yesterday, I was super tired after a long day of work, so when I got home, I had almost no control over what I do. I was kind of unconscious and just allowed my instincts to take control of me – which is not always a good idea – as there are a lot of negative distractions in our society. I watched a bit of TV, some videos on Youtube, but I had a dentist appointment the next day so that saved me from staying up too late. It’s funny. I know what I really need is sleep, but I keep procrastinating and delaying it. All those other stuff doesn’t even help me, they are just like a way of escaping being conscious of having low energy. So, if you want to take control of your life again, get lots of sleep. And it might take a few days of full night sleep before you get back your normal level of energy.

Another option is of course to meditate or do one of the Energy Enhancement exercises. But, before you get to the level where you become an expert, I would recommend you continue to get your sleep. It’s always safe to stay conservative.

Reading the Energy Enhancement Super Energy and Sacred Symbols Ebook
April 24th, 2010 by coord
This week, I’ve been reading the Energy Enhancement ebook. I’m up to the 200th page now. The information in this book impressed me very much. I learned many new things, a few about the meaning of many symbols that are just out there in society (cross, pyramid, hexagon) and also how they all try to tell the same message about the path that leads to enlightenment.

I especially enjoyed the nice comparison between psychology and the chakras. I already knew a bit about the seven chakras before, but apparently there are chakras outside of the body, though the only ones that were talked about in this ebook are the ones above the head. Well, that’s all you need for enlightenment. We don’t have time to learn about everything. It’s useless to gain knowledge that we don’t get to use anyways.

It is quite nice to know about these things as they serve as somewhat motivational material for my own meditation practises. One of the main problems with meditation practitioners is the uncertainty they have with meditation. Beginners often fear that they are wasting their time, sitting there in that akward posture, doing nothing more than sitting, one hour or so a day, when they could watch TV and have fun. This ebook kind of reinforces the certainty that meditation does work. It will take some time, but eventually you will get way more out of meditation than anything other activity in the entire world. Nothing in this world can last forever, not happiness, not pain, and we all know that one day the body has to rot away, so why not go for something that does last forever? Read the ebook and learn about how meditation can take you there. It’s what everybody is looking for.

Oh yeah! One last thing. For those people wondering what the meaning of life is, what the point of this life on earth is, why we exist at all, this ebook answers that question. It should be worth it to read this book just for the sake of this!

First Week
April 18th, 2010 by coord
So I finally signed up for the Energy Enhancement course last Friday or was it Saturday? It doesn’t matter. Last week was really busy with the final exams and all. There was really no time to keep track of what I did.

Anyways, the first task of Energy Enhancement basically entails starting some hatha yoga (once a week is the suggested load). I know hatha yoga is a pretty good practice for opening up the body’s energy channels because another advanced meditation expert who material I used to read about quotes stuff from hatha yoga, I think specifically the book of Patanjalis (hope I spelled that right). He says that hatha yoga is the best form of yoga because it doesn’t focus too much on the body like all other types of yoga and it leads you onto the correct path towards enlightenment. Of course, then you have to forget about it and do the real stuff – meditation. Then, one day you’ll have to forget about meditation altogether and do the more real stuff – (let’s not give it a name). Who knows? Maybe this thing never ends.

I think the primary reason for doing hatha yoga is basically to get you into shape and ready for meditation. Not many people today can go into the full lotus posture or straighten their spine on will alone, so it takes some exercise like hatha yoga to get them back into shape and easier for them to get into the proper posture for meditation. And posture is really important – especially in meditation – because some people claim you can become enlightened simply by having the correct posture. Guess all we are doing in meditation is attempting to acquire that correct posture then.

Best of all though, Energy Enhancement tells us how to give to the world. The first course email comes with instructions on how to earn merit – so important in this universe of karma – the more you give the more you get – it’s a law that even enlightened people choose to follow – or maybe they have to follow it? From personal experience, you can’t succeed until you have enough merit to pay for that success. Whether you earned the merit through good deeds, personal sacrifices, suffering, pain, or whatever, you always have to pay the price for anything you get in life. Most of it, you already paid from merits from past life. But, what you do now determine where you end up in the future. So starting earning merit now.

Not yet at the starting line
April 8th, 2010 by coord
I will be enrolling in the EE online course this Sunday. Until then, I have to write two exams, one tomorrow and another one the day after. So, I will be busy for the next two days. That’s partially why I delayed the start of the course, as I don’t want to violate my oath.

To tell you the truth, if you are just an average Joe, and you stumbled upon Energy Enhancement by ‘chance’, you’ll probably think “this is just another guru scam site”. I mean look at it, the design of the web interface is so disorganized. There are no navigation menus, everything is linked through text hyperlinks. But, don’t let the appearance of Energy Enhancement decieve you. That’s what I thought at first, too. Boy, was I wrong.

Well, there’s no better way of explaining it then to go watch I took a closer look at the youtube contents of Energy Enhancement.

http://www.youtube.com/user/swamisatchidanand#p/u/1/J33SoDhD-e0

I may be an average Joe. But, I do have read some high level spiritual cultivation books and articles. I’ve had experiences with esoteric buddism, Taoism, and Zen. So, I know what is real and what is not real when it comes to spiritual cultivation. The look of the web site may be unattractive, and push many so called “professional” people away, but the material this site teaches is genuine.

Energy Enhancement teaches you about the removal of negative energy. A similar lesson can be found in Taoism, with opening your major chakras and chi channels. The emptiness taught in Buddhism is related to the Mu that swarmi discusses. Best of all, Energy Enhancement teaches you how to reside in the prajna paramita, something on the path of Zen, and you know how Zen is – they only go after things on the direct path of enlightenment.

Try it out.

THE ENERGY ENHANCEMENT MASTER GAME

- A Game Worth Playing

THIS ARTICLE IS CONCERNED with games and aims

It has been stated by Thomas Szasz that what people really need and demand from life is not wealth, comfort or esteem but games worth playing.1 He who cannot find a game worth playing is apt to fall prey to accidie, defined by the Fathers of the Church as one of the Deadly Sins, but now regarded as a symptom of sickness. Accidie is a paralysis of the will, a failure of the appetite, a condition of generalized boredom, total disenchantment—"God, oh God, how weary, stale, flat and unprofitable seem to me all the uses of this world!" Such a state of mind, Szasz tells us, is a prelude to what is loosely called "mental illness," which, though Szasz defines this illness as a myth, nevertheless fills half the beds in hospitals and makes multitudes of people a burden to themselves and to society.

Seek, above all, for a game worth playing. Such is the advice of the oracle to modern man. Having found the game, play it with intensity—play as if your life and sanity depended on it. ( They do depend on it. ) Follow the example of the French existentialists and flourish a banner bearing the word "engagement." Though nothing means anything and all roads are marked "No EXIT," yet seem to offer a game worth playing, then invent one.2 For it must move as if your movements had some purpose. If life does not be clear, even to the most clouded intelligence, that any game is better than no game.

What sort of games does life offer? We can study Stephen Potter for tips on "gamesmanship." We can ( and should) read Eric Berne on Games People Play.3 If we have mathematical inclinations we can look into the work of John von Neumann or Norbert Wiener, who devoted some of their best thinking to the elaboration of a theory of games.4

From the Hindu scriptures we can learn of the cosmic game, the alternation of lila and nitya, the Dance of Shiva, in which primordial unity is transformed into multiplicity through the constant interplay of the three faunas. In the works of the mystic novelist, Hermann Hesse, we can read of the Magic Theater in which all life games are possible or of the game of games (Glassperlenspiel) in which all elements of human experience are brought together in a single synthesis."

What is a game? An interaction between people involving ulterior motives? Berne uses the word in this sense in Games People Play. But a game involves more than this. It is essentially a trial of strength or a trial of wits played within a matrix which is defined by rules."' Rules are essential. If the rules are not observed, the game ceases to be a game at all. A meaningful game of chess would be impossible if one player insisted on treating all pawns as queens.

Life games reflect real life aims. And the games men choose to play indicate not only their type, but also their level of inner development. Following Thomas Szasz ( more or less) we can divide life games into object games and meta-games. Object games can be thought of as games played for the attainment of material things, primarily money and the objects which money can buy. Meta-games are played for intangibles such as knowledge or the "salvation of the soul." In our culture object games predominate. In earlier cultures meta-games predominated. To the players of meta games, object games have always seemed shallow and futile, an attitude summarized in the Gospel saying: "What shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul?" To the players of object games, meta-games seem fuzzy and ill-defined, involving nebulous concepts like beauty, truth or salvation. The whole human population of the earth can be divided roughly into two groups, meta-game players and object-game players, the Prosperos and the Calibans.8 The Ascenders and the Descenders The two have never understood one another and it is safe to predict that they never will. They are, psychologically speaking, different species of man and their conflicts throughout the ages have added greatly to the sum of human misery.

Life Games

ALL games have an important and probably decisive influence on the destinies of the players under ordinary social conditions; but some offer more opportunities than others for lifelong careers and are more likely to involve relatively innocent bystanders. This group may be conveniently called Life Games Which we work on in Energy Enhancement Level 3. It includes "
Addict," "Defaulter," "Kick Me," "Now I've Got You, You Son of a Bitch," "See What You Made Me Do" and their principal variants. They merge on the one side with marital games, and on the other with those of the underworld. All these games are Implant Blockage created Distractions which are a total waste of time, only removable by Energy Enhancement meditation Based techniques.

Their use is promoted by Hollywood Advertising (Psychopathic Killing as an advertisement for people to join the Army) Bollywood Advertising (Dancing and sweet love to get you to enter into the Householder Game and create a massive Population so that a massive army can be generated) and childish novels as attention distracters from the Master Game.

Life games are a big subject to do with purpose, one of the energies of the Will, of the Avatar of Synthesis.

What is your purpose, your mission in this lifetime?

What is distracting you from your purpose?

The big celebration, the wedding or housewarming, takes place not when the debt is discharged, but when it is undertaken.

What is emphasized on TV, for example, is not the middle-aged man who has finally paid off his mortgage, but the young man who moves into his new home with his family, proudly waving the papers he has just signed and which will bind him for most of his productive years.

After he has paid his debts—the mortgage, the college expenses for his children and his insurance—he is regarded as a problem, a "senior citizen" for whom society must provide not only material comforts but a new "purpose."

This is the life of Nothing.

You come into this world with Nothing; make some money, pay the bills for the hospital and you leave with Nothing!!

As this is written, a sow bug crawls across a desk. If he is turned over on his back, one can observe the tremendous struggle he goes through to get on his feet again. During this interval he has a "purpose" in his life.

When he succeeds, one can almost see the look of victory on his face. Off he goes, and one can imagine him telling his tale at the next meeting of sow bugs, looked up to by the younger generation as an insect who has made it.

And yet mixed with his smugness is a little disappointment. Now that he has come out on top, life seems aimless. Maybe he will return in the hope of repeating his triumph. It might be worth marking his back with ink, so as to recognize him if he risks it. A courageous animal, the sow bug. No wonder he has survived for millions of years.

This is the Existential Position of Eric Berne which is true of any game except the Master Game of Illumination.

All games are played according to rules. In man-made games such as poker the rules are imposed by the laws of probability (odds against a straight are 254 to 1, against a flush, 508 to 1.) or they are dependent on special limitations (pawns and other pieces in chess each having its own move). In life games, rules are imposed by natural, economic or social conditions. The player must both remember the aim and know the rules. Apart from this, the quality of his game depends on his own innate characteristics.

Great chess masters are born, not made. Great football players are bound to have certain physical characteristics. The game a man can play is determined by his type ( of which more later). Ho who tries to play a game for which his type does not fit him violates his Own essence with consequences that are often disastrous.

The Satanic Games
The main types of life games are shown in Table I.

In the movie `The Matrix,' the Morpheus character says this: "The Matrix is a system, Neo, and that system is our enemy. When you are inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters, the very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are part of that system and that makes them our enemies. You have to understand most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many are so...hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it."

Sauron - "One Bank to Rule them All"

In 1956, J. Edgar Hoover, the then Director of the FBI, himself a 33rd Degree Freemason and therefore no stranger to Luciferian machinations and other deviant behaviour like dressing up in womens clothes, somewhat paradoxically wrote:  "The individual is handicapped by coming face-to-face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists. The American mind simply has not come to a realization of the evil which has been introduced into our midst. It rejects even the assumption that human creatures could espouse a philosophy which must ultimately destroy all that is good and decent." The Elks Magazine (August 1956)

"It is almost a joke now in the Western world, in the 20th century, to use words like 'good and 'evil'. They have become almost old fashioned concepts, but they are very real and genuine concepts. These are concepts from a sphere which is higher than us. And instead of getting involved in base, petty, short-sighted political calculations and games. We have to recognize that the concentration of world Evil and the tremendous force of hatred is there and it's flowing from there throughout the world. And we have to stand up against it and not hasten to give to it, give to it, give to it, every-thing that it wants to swallow."
-- Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Hog in Trough - Sauron - "One Bank to Rule them All" - is an object game pure and simple. The aim is to get one's nose in the trough as deeply as possible, guzzle as much as possible, elbow the other hogs aside as forcefully as possible. A strong Hog in Trough player has all the qualities with which communist propaganda endows the bankster crony capitalist, insatiable greed, ruthlessness, cunning, selfishness. Pure Hog in Trough is not considered entirely respectably in the contemporary U.S.A. and is generally played today with a certain moderation that would have seemed sissy to the giants of the game who savagely exploited the resources of the continent a century or so ago. Although the 4 trillions of dollars stolen out of the system by the latest 2008 housing bubble and by the yearly bubbles for 200 years - The rules of the game have become more complex and the game itself more subtle but its aim is the creation of austerity which is another name for poverty and the feudal system's return, "Aye Aye Sir" said he, tugging his forelock.

It is the promotion of Green Eugenocide as we descend into another stone age. It is the reduction of the flower of humanity from seven billions to one billion mind gelded people by means of austerity, poisoning and drugging the food and water, famine, and nuclear and biological war. See and read George Orwell's 1984 and see George Lucas' movies THX 1138 and the Revenge of the Sith..

Cock on Dunghill is played for fame. It is designed primarily to inflate the false ego and to keep it inflated. Players of Cock on Dunghill are hungry to be known and talked about. They want, in a word, to be celebrities, whether or not they have anything worth celebrating. The game is practically forced upon people in some professions ( actors, politicians), who are compelled to maintain a "public image" which may have no relationship to the thing they really are. But the real player of Cock on Dunghill, whose happiness depends entirely on the frequency with which he (or she) sees his name in the papers, does not much care about public images. For him any publicity is better than no publicity. He would rather be well known as a scoundrel than not known at all.

Politicians cultivate an image until it invariably is destroyed by the Truth - that these politicians are Tonyclones (Tony Bliar) who are atavisticly connected to the elite Ritual Sexual Pervert or Bwankster Hog in the Trough and Moloch philosophies (Satanic inspired Sex, drugs and Rock and Roll)  who sell themselves like whores to the highest corporate bidder - the definition of fascism, or both.

The Moloch Game is the deadliest of all games, played for "glory" or for "victory," by various grades of professional mankillers (trained to regard such killing as creditable provided those they kill favor a different religion or political system and can thus be collectively referred to as "the enemy." "They were all bad" - Big Fascist Arnie from the Movie, "True Lies". For thousands of years, since before the slave and banker founded Babylonian Empire and all the empires since; Roman, Venetian, Brutish, these people are created for a purpose and that purpose is the creation of poverty, low intellect - dumming down, in order to kill off the intellectual elite every few years - they have culled, and controlled humanity for thousands of years.

At the head of human societal elites for thousands of years is family controlled by a guy like Sauron - from the Lord of the Rings - see the extended edition of the movie - buy the book, who must dum down humanity every 50 years so that he can remain in power. The Satanic Moloch Game, the Hog in the Trough Bankster game, the sexual Pervert Game and the Politician Cock on the Dunghill were created by him for just this purpose.

The Moloch Game is a purely satanic psychopathic NON-human game. Other mammals, though they fight with members of their own species, observe a certain decent moderation and rarely fight to the death. But the mind controlled players of the Moloch Game have no moderation. Lured on by some false glittering dream of glory or power, they kill with boundless enthusiasm, destroying whole cities, devastating entire countries.

The game is played so passionately and with such abandon that nothing, neither pity, decency, sympathy or even common sense, is allowed to interfere with the destructive orgy so they will kill one hundred innocents to take out one enemy. As the devotees of the Satanic God Moloch sacrificed their children to the idol, so the players of the Moloch Game sacrifice the lives of thousands of young males in the name of some glittering abstraction ( formerly "glory," now more generally "defence") or a silly phrase couched in a dead language: "Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori." - It is good and beautiful to die for ones country.

And as the young men went over the top to be killed in millions by the machine guns of the other side, on both sides. The Eugenocide Generals of both sides coldly sent more to the slaughter - because, "Humanity is a disease" and must be culled.

"An investment in Blood" - from, "The Devils Advocate" movie with Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino.

Some of the war poets (World War I vintage) had bitter things to say about this phrase:
"If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood
Come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs,
bitter as the cud
Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues,
My friend, you would not tell with such high zest
To children ardent for some desperate glory,
The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est
Pro patria mori."
(Wilfred Owen, Poems [New York: The Viking Press, 1931].)

But so great is the power wielded by the players of this game, exerted through various forms of coercion and blackmail, that the thousands of young men involved make little protest. They "go to their graves like beds," not daring to expose the emptiness of the glittering words on which the Moloch Game is based.

These four games, Sexual Pervert including ritual pedophiles, buggers and sexual addicts, Hog in Trough, Cock on Dunghill and the Moloch Game, are all more or less pathological activities. As with General Crassus in Spartacus and in Venice, the cream of Empire are all Buggers, it is their defining characteristic. The players who "win" win nothing that they can truly call their own. "Hog in Trough" Bankster may emerge twice as rich as Croesus only to find himself embittered, empty and unhappy, at a loss to know what to do with the wealth he has amassed. The only winner is Sauron and his Family.

"Cock on Dunghill" may make himself so famous that everyone knows his name only to realize that this fame of his is a mere shadow and a source of inconvenience. Hitler, Stalin and Mao became notorious by killing 200 million people in the 20th century.

Players of the Moloch Game may wade in blood up to the ears only to find that the victory or glory for which they sacrificed a million lives are empty words, like richly bedizened whores who lure men to their destruction. There is a psychopathic satanic criminal element in all these games because, in every instance, they do harm both to the player and to the society of which he forms a part. So warped, however, are the standards by which men measure criminality that players of these games are more apt to be regarded as "pillars of society" than dangerous lunatics who should be exiled to remote islands where they can do no harm to themselves or Others.

Between the higher and the lower games is the neutral game, the Householder Game, the aim of which is simply to raise a family and provide it with the necessities of life. One cannot call it either a meta-game or an object game. It is the basic biological game on which the continuation of the human race depends. It is also possible to find, in every human society, a certain number of nonplayers, people who, due to some constitutional defect, are unable to find any game worth playing, who are, as a result, chronic outsiders, who feel alienated from society and generally become mentally deranged, tend to become antisocial and criminal

The High Games
The Meta-Games are rarely played in their pure form but are perverted in order to maintain the dumming down process. Money and wealth depend upon human invention to maintain the increase in human population, interaction, culture, genius and joy in life. Without this genius, humanity is set in the pattern of poverty seen on this planet for the last 100,000 years.

The Art Game is directed toward the expression of an inner awareness defined as beauty as in Raphael, Leonardo, Beethoven. The awareness is purely energetic intensity. One mans beauty be another man's horror if he cannot handle the psychic charge.

The beautiful of one age can seem ugly to another. But bad players of the art game have no inner awareness all. They are technically proficient and imitate those who have awareness, conforming to the fashion whatever that fashion may he. The whole Art Game, as played today, is heavily tainted with commercialism, the greed of the collector pervades it like a bad smell

It is further complicated by the tendency to show off that afflicts all contemporary artists, whether they be painters, sculptors, writers or composers. As all traditional concepts of the beautiful have been abandoned, anything goes, just so long, as it is new and startling. This makes it almost impossible to tell whether a work of art corresponds to some inner awareness of the artist or merely shows that he was trying to be clever 11

The Science Game is also rarely played in its pure form as Universities have also been infiltrated by Sauron - "One Bank to Rule them All". Much of it now is mere jugglery, a tiresome ringing of changes on a few basic themes by investigators who are little more than technicians with higher degrees.

History. We remember the times of Plato, Socrates, Nicolas of Cusa, Leonardo da Vinci, Shakespeare, Schiller, Goethe, Liebniz, Reiman, Tesla, Einstein.

Science Drivers. We remember going to the moon with Jack Kennedy and this science driver created computers and the internet - every cent invested in the project returned 10 and made us all richer. Barkies destruction of NASA means we may never reach the Stars!! But we can start it again!!

Food. Even dummed down we have projects to make the desert bloom, for example the Tennessee Valley Authority created by FDR (Roosevelt) and the North American Water Authority (NAWAPA) by Jack Kennedy which was PURPOSEFULLY stopped after his assassination. The Three Gorges Dam in China will make the Gobi Desert Bloom. The use of the Libyan Aquifer by Gaddafi to irrigate the Sahara desert and turn it into the bread basket of Africa. These projects are gifts which will keep on giving trillions of dollars in food every year and make possible for humanity to, "Be fruitful and Multiply" - Bible - only science can enable this. We have many more projects on the drawing Board for all the world.

Power. Only 4th Generation Nuclear Power and later Fusion Power and then matter-antimatter reactions can create sufficient cheap power to save humanity from Eugenocide.

Economics.

GOYA - SATURN EATING HIS SONS LIKE COUNT UGOLINO IN DANTES INFERNO - MONETARISM!!

Monetarism was created by Sauron and used by The Babylonian Empire. All empires under the aegis of Sauron - Babylonian, Roman, Venetian, British - have used Monetarism and all have failed because its true purpose is the vampirism created by poverty - mythical Saturn eating his sons. It has recently been publicised again by Chicago Gangboy Milton Friedman the advisor of Bloody Pinochet. Monetarism is deliberate Eugenocide.

Any competent economist aught to be able to understand that The credit system of Hamilton - after all it was recently used by FDR and his, "new deal" with tremendous success - showed how any economy can grow at 10% per year per year and make everyone rich. One element of the credit system is the separation of Banks and speculation codified in the Glass-Steagal law and recently updated in the Financial Transaction Tax which at one percent will bring in sufficient investment to finish NAWAPA, create hundreds of 4th Generation nuclear 500MW power plants, upgrade the motorways, build thousands of miles of high speed trains, create 4 million high paying scientific jobs for 100 years in each continent so that the educational investment is not wasted and we have 100% employment and everyone is happy and fulfilled. The credit system says destroy the FEDs - all private central banks - and the sovereign governments create trillions of dollars of money used for investment in infrastructure.

George Orwell reflected: "From the moment when the machine first made its appearance it was clear to all thinking people that the need for human drudgery, and therefore to a great extent for human inequality, had disappeared. If the machine were used deliberately for that end, hunger, overwork, dirt, illiteracy, and disease could be eliminated within a few generations But it was also clear that an all-around increase in wealth threatened the destruction... of a hierarchical society. In a world in which everyone worked short hours, had enough to eat, lived in a house with a bathroom and a refrigerator, and possessed a motorcar or even an air-plane, the most obvious and perhaps the most important form of inequality would already have disappeared. If it once became general, wealth would confer no distinction. Such a society could not long remain stable. For if leisure and security were enjoyed by all alike, the great mass of human beings who are normally stupefied by poverty would become literate and would learn to think for themselves; and when once they had done this, they would sooner or later realize that the privileged minority had no function, and they would sweep it away.

In the long run, a hierarchical society was only possible on a basis of poverty and ignorance... Austerity is deliberate policy to keep even the favoured groups somewhere near the brink of hardship because a general state of scarcity increases the importance of small privileges and thus magnifies the distinction between one group and another... The social atmosphere is that of a besieged city, where the possession of a lump of horseflesh makes the difference between wealth and poverty. "

As George Orwell concluded in 1984: "War is a way of shattering to pieces, or pouring into the stratosphere, or sinking into the depths of the sea, materials which might otherwise be used to make the masses too comfortable..."

The Science Game has become so complex, so vast and so expensive that more or less routine enterprises are given preference. Anything truly original tends to be excluded by that formidable array of committees that stands between the scientist and the money he needs for research. He must either tailor his research plans to fit the preconceived ideas of the committee or find himself without funds. Moreover, in the Science Game as in the Art Game there is much insincerity and a frenzied quest for status that sparks endless puerile arguments over priority of publication. The game is played not so much for knowledge as to bolster the scientist's ego.

To the Art Game and the Science Game we must add the Religion Game, a meta-game played for an aim loosely defined as the attainment of salvation. The Religion Game, as played in the past, had a fairly well-defined set of rules. It was essentially a game played by paid priests of one sort or another for their personal benefit. To compel their fellowmen to play the game, the priests invented various gods, with whom they alone could communicate, whose wrath they alone could assuage, whose cooperation they alone could enlist. He who wanted help from the gods or who wished to avert their wrath had to pay the priests to obtain his ends. The game was further enlivened, and the hold of the priests on the minds of their victims further strengthened, by the invention of two after-death states, a blissful heaven and a terrible hell. To stay out of the hell and get into the heaven, the player of the Religion Game had to pay the priests, or his relatives had to pay them after his death. This "pay the priest" aspect of the Religion Game has caused several cynics to define it as the world's oldest confidence trick designed to enable certain unscrupulous individuals to make a profit out of the credulity and suggestibility of their fellow men by interceding on their behalf with some nebulous god or ensuring their entry into an equally nebulous heaven. It was this aspect of the Religion Game that caused Sigmund Freud to exclaim, more in sorrow than anger: "The whole thing is so patently infantile, so incongruous with reality, that for one whose attitude to humanity is friendly it is painful to think that the great majority of mortals will never be able to rise above this view of life." 12

A hideous aspect of the Religion Game resulted from the insistence by certain priests that their brand of god was the only god, that their form of the game was the only permissible form. So eager were these priests to keep the game entirely in their own hands that they did not hesitate to persecute, torture or kill any who happened to wish to play the game by other rules.

This practice was started by the Jews, whose enthusiasm for their one and only and very jealous father-god justified those slaughterings the accounts of which constitute so much of the bulk of the Old Testament. As well has how to create a satanic altar of sacrifice, how big, where to put the holes for the blood to run out of.

The Policy of the "Long War" is that of economic destruction to keep humanity at the level of the beast. In Current lexicon, "To bomb them back into the Stone Age" in order to maintain the control of humanity exerted for thousands of years. "It is not enough that I succeed, everyone else must fail" - Gengis Khan, who was paid in Machiavelian manner by the Catholic Popes to attack Islam from behind. The wars of Napolean and the First and Second World wars to destroy the economic capacity of Europe. Also Iraq, Iran, Afganistan. The practice was eagerly adopted by the elite of the so-called Christians, who, not satisfied with slaughtering Moslems and Jews, turned like rabid dogs on one another in a series of ghastly religious wars, Protestant versus Catholic. The Moslems, who borrowed the rules of their Religion Game from Jews and Christians alike, did not fail to copy the bad habits of both. Believers were exhorted in the Koran to wage war on the infidel, the slaughter of unbelievers being defined as one sure way of gaining entry into the Moslem heaven ( a much lusher paradise than the rather insipid affair offered by their priests to conforming Christians).

It would simplify our account of the games if we could offer the above description of the Religion Game without further comment. Unfortunately, this is impossible. Simply to define the Religion Game as the world's oldest con game is as "patently infantile" ( to borrow Freud's words) as it is to take seriously the anthropomorphic father-god floating in his bed sheet somewhere in the stratosphere surrounded by cherubs and seraphs and other improbable species of celestial fauna (the "gaseous vertebrate" so derided by Ernst Haeckel).

For it must be obvious to any fair-minded observer that there is another element in the Religion Game besides that of playing on the credulity of believers and selling them entry permits into a phoney heaven. All the great religions offer examples of saints and mystics who obviously did not play the game for material gain, whose indifference to personal comfort, to wealth and to fame was so complete as to arouse our wonder and admiration. It is equally obvious from the writings and sayings of these mystics that they were not so naive as to take seriously either the gaseous vertebrate or heaven with its golden harps or hell with its ovens. Obviously they played the game by entirely different rules and for entirely different aims from those of the priestly con men, who sold trips to heaven for hard cash and insisted on payment in advance (no refund if not fully satisfied, either).

THE MASTER GAME What game did these mystics play? Within the matrix imposed by their religion, these players were attempting the most difficult game of all, the Master Game, the aim of which is the attainment of full consciousness or real awakening. It was natural for these players to play their game within a religious matrix. The basic idea underlying all the great religions is that man is asleep, that he lives amid dreams and delusions, that he cuts himself off from the universal consciousness (the only meaningful definition of God) to crawl into the narrow shell of a personal ego. To emerge from this narrow shell, to regain union with the universal consciousness, to pass from the darkness of the ego-centered illusion into the light of the non-ego, this was the real aim of the Religion Game as defined by the great teachers, Jesus, Gautama, Krishna, Mahavira, Lao-tze and the Platonic Socrates.

Among the Moslems this teaching was promulgated by the Sufis, who praised in their poems the delights of reunion with the Friend. To all these players, it was obvious that the Religion Game as played by the paid priests, with its shabby confidence tricks, promises, threats, persecutions and killings, was merely a hideous travesty of the real game, a terrible confirmation of the truth of the statement: "This people praise me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. . . They have eyes but see not, ears and hear not, neither do they understand."

So little did they understand that, at least within the matrix of the "Christian" religion, it actually became physically dangerous during several centuries to try to play the Master Game at all. Serious players found themselves accused of heresy, imprisoned by the Inquisitors, tortured, burned alive. It became impossible to play the game openly. To survive at all, one had to adopt a disguise, pretend that one's real interest was alchemy or magic, both of which were permitted by the priests, who did not understand the real significance of either.

Alchemy was particularly safe as its stated aim, the transmutation of base metals into gold, posed no challenge whatever to the authority of the priests. Therefore it was behind the mask of alchemy that many players of the Master Game concealed their real aims, formulating the rules of the game in an elaborate secret code in which the transmutations of substances within the body were expressed in terms of mercury, sulfur, salt and other ele¬ments. There were, of course, numerous alchemists who took the whole science at its face value, who believed that the Great Work referred to the production of metallic gold, who impoverished and frequently poisoned themselves in the quest for the great secret, and incidentally laid the foundations of modern chemistry. But for the serious alchemist the transmutation involved the formation of the pure spiritual golden aura - Aurum Non Vulgi - Not Fool's Gold, or the genesis of the homunculus, both of which symbolized the creation of fully conscious, cosmically oriented man out of the ego-centered puppet that goes by the name of man but is really only a pathetic caricature of what man could be. So well did the alchemists conceal their secrets that it took all the intuitive genius of Carl Gustav Jung (perhaps the leading authority on the subject) a large part of his life to unravel this mystery.13

"The Name of the Rose" movie and book by Umberto Eco posits monks who play to another set of rules. Don Juan tells Carlos Castaneda that his forebears of his line of sorcerors lived as sextons and priests. "The Valkirie" with Tom Cruise shows how organisations are perverted, this time for a good purpose. The satanic elite play similar games in All political, banking, and religious organisations - even organisations previously inhabited by Masters,  as infil-traitors seeking to gain postions of power, thus to subvert the institution and pervert its books for the future.

Thus Master Gamers must find a genuine Master.

Today no danger is involved in playing or attempting to play the Master Game. The tyranny of the priests has more or less ended. The Religion Game, though often as much of a con game as ever, is played without threats of torture and death. A good deal of the old venom has gone out of the game; in fact, it is even possible for priests who wear round their necks the label "Catholic" to be moderately polite to those who wear the once hated label "Protestant." So the game is now played with a certain amount of restraint not because men have become more tolerant, but because the whole issue of heaven versus hell, salvation versus damnation, is no longer taken very seriously. Even the theologians admit that the old father-god ( Haeckel's "gaseous vertebrate") is dead as far as anyone above the Jehovah's Witness level is concerned. The fight today is between rival political systems rather than rival theologies.

But although it is safe to play the Master Game, this has not served to make it popular. It still remains the most demanding and difficult of games and, in our society, there are few who play.

Contemporary man, hypnotized by the glitter of his own gadgets, has little contact with his inner world, concerns himself with outer, not inner space. But the Master Game is played entirely in the inner world, a vast and complex territory about which men know very little. The aim of the game is true awakening, full development of the powers latent in man.

The game can be played only by people whose observations of themselves and others have led them to a certain conclusion, namely, that man's ordinary state of consciousness, his so-called waking state, is not the highest level of consciousness of which he is capable. In fact, this state is so far from real awakening that it could appropriately be called a form of somnambulism, a condition of "waking sleep." 14

Once a person has reached this conclusion, he is no longer able to sleep comfortably. A new appetite develops within him, the hunger for real awakening, for full consciousness. He realizes that he sees, hears, knows only a tiny fraction of what he could see, hear and know, that he lives in the poorest, shabbiest of the rooms in his inner dwelling, but that he could enter other rooms, beautiful and filled with treasures, the windows of which look out on eternity and infinity. In these rooms he would transcend his petty personal self and undergo spiritual rebirth, "the rising from the tomb" which is the theme of so many myths and the basis of all the mystery religions, including Christianity.

He who arrives at this conclusion is ready to play the Master Game. But though he may be ready, he does not necessarily know how to play. He cannot draw upon instinctive knowledge, for nature has not endowed men with such instincts. She provides for man's development up to the age of puberty, she endows him with the instinct to propagate his kind, but after this she leaves him to his own devices. Far from helping man to develop further into the harmonious and enlightened being he might become, the blind force of evolution has actually put obstacles in his way.15

One who would play the Master Game is therefore compelled to seek a teacher, a skilled player who knows the rules. But where will he find such a teacher? A materialistic, spiritually impoverished culture can offer no instructions to the aspirant. The huge, highly specialized training centers that call themselves universities are obviously lacking in universality. They do not put the emphasis on expansion of consciousness first and acquisition of specialized knowledge second. They educate only a small part of man's totality. They cram the intellectual brain with facts, pay some lip service to the education of the physical body by encouraging idiotic competitive sports. But true education, in the sense of expansion of consciousness and the harmonious development of man's latent powers, they do not offer.

Here it is sufficient to say that the Master Game can never be made easy to play. It demands all that a man has, all his feelings, all his thoughts, his entire resources, physical and spiritual. If he tries to play it in a halfhearted way or tries to get results by unlawful means, he runs the risk of destroying his own potential. For this reason it is better not to embark on the game at all than to play it halfheartedly.

Energy Enhancement
The present site offers a synthesis of many methods derived from different sources, all of which are designed to help the practitioner to emerge from the darkness of waking sleep into the light of full consciousness. Purely for convenience, these methods are referred to collectively as Energy Enhancement, Enhancement because they bring about a higher synthesis, a new level of order within the psyche. Energy Enhancement is based on the idea that man can create by his own efforts a new being within himself ( the second birth). As a result, he can enjoy certain experiences, exercise certain powers, attain certain insights that are quite inconceivable to man in his once-born state.

Energy Enhancement involves the highest form of creativity of which man is capable, the creation of a truly inner-directed being out of a helpless other-directed slave. This creative work involves every aspect of man's behavior, the instinctive, motor, emotional and intellectual. It involves an understanding of the chemistry of the body and of the mind. It involves a study of type and all that pertains to type, the strengths and weaknesses that type imposes.

It involves a study of creative activity, arts, crafts, techniques of various kinds and of the effects these activities produce on levels of consciousness. It involves a study of events on the large scale and on the small, an awareness of the processes taking place in human and nonhuman communities that affect the individual adversely or otherwise. For man cannot be studied apart from his environment and he who would know himself must also know the world in which he lives.

The theory of Energy Enhancement can be studied in books." The practice is a different matter. For this a teacher is necessary. One who tries to practice the method without a teacher almost inevitably encounters certain difficulties which he cannot surmount. The illusion-creating mechanism in man's psyche does not cease to operate merely because a man decides to practice Creative Psychology. In fact, in such a one, it may operate all the more actively. So he may enjoy all sorts of pseudo-experiences, the result not of an expansion of consciousness but of the workings of his own imagination. A teacher can help him to sort out the true from the false, can warn him about the traps that lie in his path. Furthermore, the solitary practitioner of Energy Enhancement lives today in a culture that is more or less totally opposed to the aims he has set himself, that does not recognize the existence of the Master Game, and regards players of this game as queer or slightly mad.

The player thus confronts great opposition from the culture in which he lives and must strive with forces which tend to bring his game to a halt before it has even started. Only by finding a teacher and becoming part of the group of pupils that that teacher has collected about him can the player find encouragement and support. Otherwise he simply forgets his aim, or wanders off down some side road and loses himself. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find such teachers and such groups.

They do not advertise, they operate under disguises. Moreover, there exists an abundance of frauds and fools who pass themselves off as teachers without having any right to do so. So the would-be player of the Master Game encounters at the outset one of the most difficult tests in his career. He must find a teacher who is neither a fool nor a fraud and convince that teacher that he, the would-be pupil, is worth teaching. His future development depends largely on the skill with which he performs this task. 20

"I am now in the last week of the course and I feel like a totally different person. I have regained myself and have been given from nothing having no psychic vision at all at the start of the energy enhancement course, a clarity of psychic vision that is breathtaking."

"As we practiced on each other we came very quickly to realise this. I could literally feel the energy moving inside each chakra as the other person worked within me from several meters away and when I worked on the other person I could see me projecting energy to them and could see where the blockages were within their chakras.

I could force the energy from my centres into their centres and clean their centre bringing the energy full circle back to me. You could tell the state of their chakras by the amount of energy returning to your own centre and this was achieved by mind power only.

Before I came here Satchi said he would teach me to do it in this way and I was sceptical about this claim. I could never envision me having psychic vision, but I have now, I can now do astonishingly powerful Reiki sessions on people without going any where near them and distance healing over any distance is a piece of cake, incredible stuff."

"I am totally de-stressed and have expanded in every way. I feel stronger and fitter and much more mentally agile than I have ever felt in my life. The fog and confusion of life has gone and I feel that I have just received the inside information on everything.

I am ready for anything and am wide awake. I am full of the most incredible energy imaginable and have Energy Enhancement Reiki that is so powerful it staggers me. I know a thing or two about Reiki and had a very strong Reiki connection before I got here, now I have a connection that is beyond description and I have yet to undergo the second initiation this week and then the masters. I have opted to take this as an extra and for anyone who is interested, I believe this is beyond anything you will ever experienced anywhere."

I am now equipped with life tools and healing tools that one only dreams of and there is nothing out there in the world that will ever faze me again. I am absolutely delighted that I decided to come here, because this experience has changed me, for the good of me and for all those that I will touch when I leave here. I am so excited and can’t wait to start exploring my new found talents"

It must be admitted that Patanjali, the great Hindu commentator on yoga, describes "simples" (ausadhi) along with samadhi (roughly, a state of meditation) among the means of attaining the siddhis (yogic powers) but ". . . hemp and similar drugs produced ecstasy and not the yogic samadhi." 13. Energy Enhancement, a modern synthesis, combines physiology and psychology, eliminates the artificial barrier created between them by dualistic theories separating mind and matter. There is no single formulation of the teaching. It cannot be learned from books, but only by practice under the guidance of a teacher, P. D. Ouspensky, G. Gurdjieff and others. See Ouspensky's In Search of the Miraculous, op. cit.; and his A New Model of the Universe (London: Kegan Paul, 1938); Gurdjieff, G., All and Everything (New York: Harcourt, Brace and Co., 1958); Gurdjieff, G,, Meetings with Remarkable Men (New York: E. P. Dutton, 1964). References will be made in this book to the "Gurdjieffian System," but the term is used only for convenience. The studies of Rafael Lefort in The Teachers of Gurdjieff (London: V. Although it must be repeatedly emphasized that little can be learned from books, reading may be of some value in preparing the student and helping him to define what he needs to Know. The student, however, should beware of substituting mere reading for actual practice and guard against losing himself in the jungles of terminology and the deserts of mere scholasticism. The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali..

The issue is as follows:<>
The essence of Christianity, and of Mosaic Judaism, is identified historically first, by Philo of Alexandria in his commentary on the first chapter of Genesis, that is, the account of Creation given by Moses. The point to be emphasized, is that man is defined in the image of God, Imago Viva Dei: not by virtue of any outward physical attributes of form, but rather by the fact that man, unlike all animals, contains that spark of creativity which places the human species apart from and above the animals in general.

That spark is the crucial thing...

Spiritual Energy and Enlightenment, the Economics of Human Extinction Events and the Principle of Progress

It seems that human extinction events always proceed in order to destroy the violent so that people of the Heart, who would never hurt anyone, can move onwards to wards that Initiation event of Enlightenment.

And the Initiation of Enlightenment is also the Great Extinction Event.

In order to become Enlightened, there must be an extinction, a destruction, a transmutation of the Ego.

This is the destruction of the bad guys on the field of Kurukshetra where Arjuna with the help of his soul, Krishna, destroyed all of his Ego.

"The Selfish Competitive Ego is just a collection of Energy Blockages" - Swami Satchidananda, Guru of Swami Satchidanand

All the energy blockages, all the sub-personalities are removed in an extinction event which precedes the greater progress towards Spiritual Energy Intensity, Flux Density, the psychic charge of the Illuminated, Enlightened Sage.

Instead, now, seeing the truth, let us take a little time for ourselves, for meditation.

Not for the ordinary traditional meditation which has been so dumbed down over thousands of years, by the removal of any advanced meditational techniques which work.

But for a meditation which works quickly, which has been proven to work quickly, for our evolution, in the knowledge that every new enlightened being creates energy for the speed up and production of more enlightened beings - for the evolution of the whole planet.

To prevent the extinction of the whole human race!!

To promote a Planet of Plenty, Love and Light!!

Die Living

Baul Mystics

THE MAN THAT BREATHES
LIVES ON THE AIR,
AND THE OTHER, UNSEEN,
RESTS ABOVE REACH.
BETWEEN THE TWO
MOVES ANOTHER MAN
AS A SECRET LINK.
WORSHIP KNOWINGLY.
IT IS A SPORT
AMONGST THE THREE OF THEM.
MY SEARCHING HEART,
WHOM DO YOU SEEK?
BETWEEN THE DOORS
OF BIRTH AND DEATH,
STANDS YET ANOTHER DOOR,
WHOLLY INEXPLICABLE.
HE WHO IS ABLE
TO BE BORN
AT THE DOOR OF DEATH,
IS DEVOTED ETERNALLY....
DIE BEFORE DYING,
DIE LIVING.

RELIGION is a very complex phenomenon. Its complexity has to be understood.
There are seven types of religions in the world. The first type is ignorance-oriented. Because people cannot tolerate their ignorance, they hide it. Because it is difficult to know that one does not know, it is against the ego, people believe. Their belief systems function to protect their egos. They are helpful, but in the long range they are very harmful. In the beginning they seem to be protecting, but finally they are very destructive. The very orientation is in ignorance.
Religion is light, religion is understanding, religion is awareness, religion is authenticity. But a major part of humanity remains in the first type of religion. It is simply to avoid the reality, to avoid the gap that one feels in one's own being, to avoid the black hole of ignorance.
The people of the first type are the fanatics. They cannot even tolerate that there can be other sorts of religions in the world. Their religion is THE religion. Because they are so afraid of their ignorance, if there is some other religion also then they will become suspicious, then doubt will arise. Then they will not be so certain. To gain certainty they become very stubborn, madly stubborn. They cannot read others' scriptures, they cannot listen to other nuances of truth, they cannot be tolerant to other revelations of God. THEIR revelation is the only revelation, and their prophet is the only prophet. Everything else is absolutely false. These people talk in terms of absolute, while a man of understanding is always relative.
These people have done great harm to religion. Because of these people, religion itself looks a little stupid. Remember not to be a victim of this first sort. Almost ninety percent of humanity lives in this first sort of religion, and that is in no way better than irreligion. Maybe it is worse -- because an irreligious person is not fanatic. An irreligious person is more open, at least ready to listen, ready to talk things out, ready to argue, ready to seek and inquire. But the first type of religious person is not even ready to listen.
When I was a student in the university I used to stay with one of my professors. His mother was a very devout Hindu; completely uneducated, but very religious.
One day on a cold winter night, fire was burning in the room in the fireplace, and I was reading RIG VEDA. She came by the way and she asked, "What are you reading so late in the night?" Just to tease her, I said, "This is the Koran." She jumped over me, took away the RIG VEDA and threw it in the fireplace and said, "Are you a Mohammedan? How do you dare to bring the Koran in my house!"
Next day I told her son, my professor, that, "Your mother is a Mohammedan" -- because this sort of thing has only been known to be done by Mohammedans.
Mohammedans burnt one of the greatest treasures of the world, the library of Alexandria. The library was the greatest in the ancient world. The fire continued for almost six months, the library was so big. It took six months for it to be burnt down completely. And the man who burnt it was a Mohammedan, Calipha. His logic is the logic of the first type of religion. He came with a Koran in one hand and with a burning torch in the other, and he asked the librarian, "I have a simple question. In this big library, millions of books are there...."
Those books contained all that humanity had learned up to that time, and it was really more than we know now. That library contained every information about Lemuria, Atlantis, and all the scriptures of Atlantis, the continent that disappeared into the Atlantic. It was the ancient-most library, a great preserve. Had it still been, humanity would have been totally different -- because we are rediscovering many things which had already been discovered.
This Calipha said, "If this library contains only that which is contained in the Koran, then it is not needed; it is superfluous. If it contains more than is contained in the Koran, then it is wrong. Then it has to be destroyed immediately. Either way it has to be destroyed. If it contains the same as the Koran, then it is superfluous. Why manage such a big library unnecessarily? The Koran is enough. And if you say that it contains many more things than the Koran, then those things are bound to be wrong, because the Koran is THE truth."
Holding the Koran in one hand, he started the fire with the other hand -- in the name of the Koran. Mohammed must have cried and wept that day in heaven, because in his name, the library was being burnt. This is the first type of religion. Always remain alert, because this stubborn man exists in everybody.
I was reading just the other night....
The two old codgers had equal reputations for being stubborn. When they encountered each other in situations where one had to give in, a third party usually had to settle the issue. One day the old fellows, each driving a large load of hay, met on a narrow lane. Both determined not to give an inch.
Finally one said to the other, "I am prepared to stay here as long as you want to wait." He took out his newspaper and began to read. The other filled his pipe and smoked contentedly. After half an hour of silence he leaned forward and called out to his neighbor, "Would you mind letting me read the paper when you are through?"
THIS stubborn man exists in everybody, and this is the lowest type of man. It exists in Hindus, it exists in Mohammedans, it exists in Christians, Buddhists, Jains -- it exists in everybody
And everybody has to be aware not to get caught. Only then can you rise to higher sorts of religion.
The problem with this first type of religion is that we are almost always brought up in it. We are conditioned in it, so it becomes almost normal. It looks normal. A Hindu is brought up with the idea that others are wrong. Even if he is taught to be tolerant, that tolerance is of one who knows towards others who don't know. A Jain is ABSOLUTELY brought up with the belief that only he is right; others are all ignorant, stumbling, groping in darkness. This conditioning can become so deep that you may forget that this is a conditioning, and that you have to go above it.
Mulla Nasrudin was telling a friend his future through palmistry. He said, "You will be poor and unhappy and miserable until you are sixty."
"Then what?" asked the man hopefully.
"By that time," said Nasrudin, "you will be used to it."
That's the problem: one can become used to a certain conditioning, and one can start thinking as if it is one's nature, or as if it is the truth. So one has to be very alert and watchful to find this lowest possibility in oneself and not get caught in it.
Sometimes we go on working hard in transforming our lives, and we go on believing in the first type of religion. The revolution is not possible -- because you are trying something which is so low that it cannot be really religious. The first type of religion is just religion in name; it should not be called religion.
One man was saying to another, "My son-in-law, the doctor, has been treating a patient for yellow jaundice for twenty years. He just found out the man was Chinese."
"Ain't that something?" said the other man.
"What is terrible is, he cured him."
Twenty years treating a man for yellow jaundice -- he may be a Chinese, but how long can he protect himself? If continuously you work on yourself with a wrong attitude, your nature starts yielding. You start functioning the way you want to function. Yes, the habit can become second nature. Unfortunately, sometimes it becomes first nature, and nature is completely forgotten.
The characteristic of the first sort of religion is imitation. It insists on imitation: imitate Buddha, imitate Christ, imitate Mahavir, but imitate. Imitate somebody. Don't be yourself, be somebody else. And if you are very stubborn you can force yourself to be somebody else.
You will never be somebody else. Deep down you cannot be. You will remain yourself, but you can force so much that you almost start looking like somebody else.
Each man is born with a unique individuality, and each man has a destiny of his own. Imitation is crime, it is criminal. If you try to become a Buddha, you may become an imitation Buddha. You may look like Buddha, you may walk like Buddha, you may talk like Buddha, but you will miss. You will miss all that life was ready to deliver to you. Because Buddha happens only once. It is not in the nature of things to repeat. God is so creative that He never repeats anything. You cannot find another human being in the present, in the past, or in the future, who is going to resemble you exactly. It has never happened. Man is not a mechanism. He is not like Ford cars on an assembly line; you can produce millions alike, exactly alike. Man is a soul, is individual. Imitation is poisonous. Never imitate anybody, otherwise you will be a victim of the first sort of religion, which is not religion at all.
Then there is the second type. The second type is fear-oriented.
Man IS afraid, the world IS a strange world, and man wants to be secure, safe. In childhood the father protects, the mother protects. But there are many people, millions of them, who never grow beyond their childhoods. They remain stuck somewhere, and they still need a father and a mother. Hence God is called the Father or the Mother. They need a divine Father to protect them; they are not mature enough to be on their own. They need some security.
One psychologist, Winnicott, has been working with a particular problem with small children for many years, and he has discovered many beautiful things. They are pertinent.
You may have watched small children with their teddy bear, or their toy, their special toy, or their blanket, or something that has a special personality to the child. The teddy bear...you cannot replace the teddy bear. You may say that you can find a better one, but that doesn't matter. There is a love relationship between the child and HIS teddy bear. His teddy bear is unique; you cannot replace it. It becomes dirty, it becomes smelly, rotten, but the child goes on carrying it. You cannot find a new one, a fresh one. Even parents have to tolerate it. Even they have to respect, because a child feels offended. If the parents are going to travel, they have to tolerate the teddy bear also; they have to treat it almost as a member of the family. They know this is foolish, but for the child it has significance.
What significance does the teddy bear have for the child? It is objective in a way. It is there, outside the child; it is part of reality. Certainly it is not just imagination, it is not just subjective; it is not a dream, it is there. But it is not totally there; many of the child's dreams are involved in it. It is object, objective, but much subjectivity is involved in it. For the child it is almost alive. The child has projected many things onto the teddy bear. He talks to the teddy bear, sometimes he becomes angry and throws it away, then says'I am sorry' and takes it back. It has a personality, almost human. Without the teddy bear he cannot go to sleep. Holding, hugging, he goes to sleep; he feels secure. With the teddy bear the world is okay, everything is okay. Without the teddy bear he is suddenly alone.
So the teddy bear exists in a totally new dimension which is neither subjective nor objective. Winnicott calls it 'the transitory realm': a little objective and a little subjective. Many children grow physically, but they never grow spiritually, and they need teddy bears all their lives. Your images of God in the temple are nothing but teddy bears.
So when a Hindu goes into the Hindu temple, he sees something which a Mohammedan cannot see. The Mohammedan can only see a stone statue. The Hindu sees something which nobody else can see; it is his teddy bear. It is objectively there, but not totally objective. Much subjectivity of the worshipper is projected on it; t functions as a screen.
You go to a Jain temple. You may be a Hindu, but in a Jain temple you will not feel any reverence arising in you. Sometimes you may even feel a little offended, because Mahavir, his statue, is nude, naked. You may feel a little offended. You may like to go out as soon as possible; you may not feel any respect. But then there comes a Jain with tremendous respect; it is his teddy bear, and he feels very protected.
So whenever you are in fear, you start remembering God. Your God is a by-product of your fear. When you are feeling good, unafraid, you don't bother. There is no need.
THE second type of religion is fear-oriented. It is very ill.
It is almost neurotic -- because maturity only comes to you when you realize that you ARE alone, and you have to be alone, and you have to face the reality as it is. These transitory teddy bears are just of your imagination; they are not going to help. If something is going to happen, it is going to happen; the teddy bear cannot protect you. If death is going to happen, it is going to happen. You go on calling to God, but protection cannot come to you. You are calling nobody, you are simply calling out of fear. Maybe calling loudly gives you a certain courage.
Maybe praying...prayer gives you a certain courage, but there is no God to respond to it. There is nobody who is going to respond to your prayer. But if you have an idea that somebody is there to respond to your prayer, you may feel a little relieved, relaxed.
Once I saw Mulla Nasrudin praying very devoutly. When he had finished his NAMAJ, I asked him, "Mulla, there must be some problem; you were praying so deeply. Please answer my one question: is your prayer ever answered?"
He said, "Yes, one way or the other."
But if the prayer is answered one way or the other, what is the point of it? Yes, sometimes it coincides with facts, sometimes it does not coincide with the facts, but your prayer makes no difference to the facts. It may make a little difference in your mind, but it makes no difference in reality.
The fear-oriented religion is the religion of 'don't': don't do this, don't do that -- because fear is negative. The Ten Commandments are all fear-oriented -- don't do this, don't do that -- as if religion is nothing but avoiding -- don't do this, don't do that -- closing oneself in safety and security, never taking any risk, never moving on the dangerous path, in fact not allowing yourself to be alive. Just as the first type of religion is stupid, fanatic, the second type of religion is negative. It gives a certain stiffness, up-tightness. It is childish. It is a search for security which is nowhere possible, because life exists as insecurity. God exists as insecurity, danger, and risk.
THE key word for the fear-oriented religion is "hell', and of course, repression, continuous repression: don't do this. The second type of person is always afraid -- what to eat, what not to eat, whether to love a woman or not to love a woman, whether to make a house or not to make a house. And whatsoever you repress, you are never free of it; in fact, the more and more you are in its power. Because when you repress a thing it goes deeper into your unconscious. It reaches to your very roots and poisons your whole being.
I have heard....
An old-timer was seeing a movie for the first time. He was known to be a very religious man, a man who used to do his prayer regularly, fulfill all the duties, had never been known to get involved in any sort of problematic situations. He was, in short, a very simple man -- but not so simple inside. At one point in the feature, a bevy of shapely girls dashed across the screen. They crossed a railroad track, reached a swimming pool and began to disrobe for the plunge. They had taken off their shoes, stockings, shirts, skirts, and were beginning on...and a passing freight train sped across the screen and obscured the view. When it had passed, the next scene showed the girls frolicking in the water.
The old-timer saw the show again and again and again. At length an usher tapped him on the shoulder. "Are you not ever going home?" he asked.
"Oh, I reckon not yet for awhile," said the old-timer. "One of these times that darned train is going to be late."
Deep inside you will always carry whatsoever is repressed. You may follow the religion as ritual, but it will never become your heart.
I have heard an anecdote:
For centuries European Jews were the victims of organized persecution, called pogroms. These pogroms took place so often that Jews developed a sense of humor about them.
In a small town in Poland, soldiers broke into the house of Ostrovoski and his family. Living with him were his wife, three daughters, two sons, and his very aged and religious mother. She was known around almost as a saint.
"Line up!" shouted the sergeant in charge. "We are gonna beat up all the men and rape all the women!"
"Wait," pleaded Ostrovoski. "You can wallop me and my sons, abuse my wife and daughters, but please sir, I beg you, don't rape my mother. She is seventy-five years old and very religious."
"Shut up!" yelled the old woman. "A pogrom is a pogrom!"
Remember, repression is not a way towards freedom. Repression is worse than expression, because through expression a person is BOUND to become free one day or other. But through repression, one always remains obsessed. Only life gives you freedom. A lived life gives you freedom, an unlived life remains very attractive, and the mind goes on roaming around whatsoever you have repressed.
Smulovitz, aged eighty-three and widowed, refused to be placed in just any Miami Beach old-age home. "I won't eat anything," he declared to his son, "unless it is strictly kosher."
The son searched for weeks and finally found a place that served meals in accordance with the Jewish dietary laws. He placed his old father in the home, secure in the knowledge that his father would be eating only kosher food.
Three days later he came for a visit and learned that the old man had left and checked into the Fontainbleau Hotel. The boy rushed over to the hotel, got a key, went upstairs, opened the door, and there was his father in bed with a blonde. They were both stark naked.
"Poppa, how could you?" asked the bewildered boy.
"But look," said the old man, "I'm not eating."
People who live through rituals out of fear may avoid one thing, but they will fall into another -- because the understanding is not their own. It is just fear-oriented. It is hell they are afraid of.
A real religion gives you fearlessness: let that be the criterion. If religion gives you fear, then it is not really religion.
The third type of religion is out of greed.
It is a 'do' religion. Just as the fear-oriented is a 'don't' religion, the greed-oriented is a 'do' religion: do this. And just as the fear-oriented religion has the key word 'hell', the religion of greed has the key word 'heaven'. Everything is to be done in such a way that the world -- the other world -- is completely secure and your happiness beyond death is guaranteed.
'Do' religion or greed religion is formal, ritualistic, ambitious, desire-oriented. It is full of desires. See the Mohammedan concept of paradise, or the Christian concept of paradise, or the Hindu concept of paradise. Degrees may be different, but this is a very strange thing: all that these people say one has to deny oneself in this life, they go on providing in heaven in great quantities. You are to be celibate here just to achieve heaven where beautiful APSARAS, always young, stuck at the age of sixteen, are available. Mohammedans say, "Don't take any alcoholic beverage. But in heaven, rivers of wine! No need to be worried."
But this seems to be absurd. If something is wrong, it is wrong. How can it become good and right in heaven? Then Omar Khayam is right. He says, "If in heaven rivers of wine are available then let us practice here, because if we go unpracticed, it will be difficult to live in paradise. So let this life be a little rehearsal, so that we have the taste, and we have the capacity." Then Omar Khayam seems to be more logical. In fact, he is joking against the Mohammedan concept of paradise. It is foolish; the whole concept is foolish. But people become religious out of greed.
One thing is certain: that whatsoever you accumulate here will be taken away; death will take it away. So the greedy person wants to accumulate something which cannot be taken by death. But the accumulating idea, the desire to accumulate, remains there. Now he accumulates virtue. Virtue is the coin of the other world. He goes on accumulating virtue so he can live in the other world forever and forever, in lust.
This type of man is basically worldly. His other world is nothing but a projection of this world. He will do because he has desires, and he has ambition, and he has a power-lust, but his doing will not be of the heart. It will be a sort of manipulation.
Mulla Nasrudin and his young son were driving in the country one winter. It was snowing; their bullock-cart broke down. They finally reached a farm-house and were welcomed for the night. The house was cold and the attic in which they were invited to spend the night was like an icebox. Stripping to his underwear, the Mulla jumped into a featherbed and pulled the blankets over his head. The young man was slightly embarrassed.
"Excuse me, Dad," he said. "Don't you think we ought to say our prayers before going to bed?"
The Mulla stuck one eye out from under the covers. "Son," he said, "I keep prayed up ahead for situations just like this one."
Then things are just on the surface. Greed and fear and ignorance are just on the periphery.
These are three sorts of religions -- and they are all mixed together. You cannot find a person who is absolutely, purely of the first type or the second type or the third type. Wherever greed is, there is fear; wherever fear is, there is greed; and wherever greed and fear exist, there is ignorance -- because they cannot exist without them. So I am not talking about pure types. I am classifying simply so that you can understand well. Otherwise they are all mixed.
These three are the lowest types of religion. They should not be called religions.
Then there is the fourth type: the religion of logic, calculation, cleverness.
It is 'do' plus 'don't' religion: worldly, materialistic, opportunistic, intellectual, theoretical, scriptural, traditional. This is the religion of the PUNDITS, the learned scholar who tries to prove God through logic, who thinks that the mysteries of life can be understood through the head.
This type of religion creates theology. It is not really religion but just a very faint carbon copy of it. But all the churches are based on it. When a Buddha exists in the world, or a Mohammed, or a Krishna, or a Christ, then pundits and scholars and learned people, intellectually clever and cunning people, gather together around them. They start working hard: "What does Jesus mean?" They start creating a theology, a creed, a dogma, a church. They are very successful people because they are very logical people. They cannot give you God, they cannot give you truth, but they give you great organizations. They give you the Catholic Church, the Protestant Church. They give you great theologies, just clevernesses, nothing of the real experience; just intellectual, head-oriented. Their whole edifice is as if one is making a house of cards: a small breeze and the house is gone. Their whole edifice is such, as if one is trying to sail in a boat of paper. It looks like a real boat, the form is of a boat, but it is a paper boat. It is doomed, it is already doomed. Logic is a paper boat. And life cannot be understood through logic.
I have heard about one American:
A very wealthy American was convinced that an atomic war was just around the corner, and determined that he would survive it. He bought an acre of land in the middle of the Arizona desert and employed a labor force to build him a home five miles underground. It was to be encased in lead fifty yards thick, and equipped with its own power plant which would supply sufficient electricity to give him light, heat, and purified air for at least ten years. Frozen food, water, cigars, alcoholic refreshment, for the same period of time had to be provided, together with every conceivable aid to luxurious living. The job was completed in three years at a cost of five hundred thousand million dollars.
The proud owner went to the desert to inspect it, and a red Indian shot him in the back with an arrow.
That's how life is: you make all the arrangements and just one arrow is enough to finish you. Man is very fragile. How can man's logic understand reality? Man is so limited, his understanding is so short-sighted. No, there is no way through logic. Through logic a philosophy is born, but not real religion.
THESE four are ordinarily known as religion.
The fifth, sixth and seventh are the real religions. The fifth is the religion based on intelligence; not on logic, not on intellect, but on intelligence. And there is a lot of difference between intellect and intelligence.
Intellect is logical; intelligence is paradoxical. Intellect is analytical; intelligence is synthetical. Intellect divides, cuts into pieces to understand a thing. Science is based on intellect, dissection, division, analysis. Intelligence joins things together, makes a whole out of parts -- because this is one of the greatest understandings: that the part exists through the whole, not vice versa. And the whole is not just the sum of the parts, it is more than the sum.
For example, you can have a rose flower, and you can go to a scientist, to a logician. You can ask him, "I want to understand this rose flower"; what will he do? He will dissect it, he will separate all the elements that are making it a flower. When you go next you will find the flower gone. Instead of the flower there will be a few labelled bottles. The elements have been separated, but one thing is certain -- there will not be any bottle on which will be the label 'beauty'.
Beauty is not matter and beauty does not belong to parts. Once you dissect a flower, once the wholeness of the flower is gone, beauty is also gone. Beauty belongs to the whole, it is the grace that comes to the whole. It is more than the sum. Then only parts are there. You can dissect a man; the moment you dissect, life disappears. Then you know only a dead body, a corpse. You can find out how much aluminium is there and how much iron and how much water (eighty percent or something); you can find the whole mechanism the lungs, the kidneys, everything -- but one thing is not there: life. One thing is not there that was the most valuable. One thing is not there that we wanted to understand really, and everything else is there.
Now even scientists are becoming alert that when you take blood out of a man's bloodstream and you examine it, it is no longer the same blood. Inside the bloodstream of the man it was alive, throbbing with life. Now it is just a corpse. It cannot be the same because the gestalt has changed. You can take the color of the rose flower from it, but is it the same color? It looks the same but it cannot be the same. Where is that fragileness? Where is that aliveness, that throb of life? When it was in the rose flower it was in a totally different arrangement and life was present. It was full of presence; God was there beating in its heart. Taken out, the part is there but you cannot say the part is the same. It cannot be because the part exists in the whole.
Intellect dissects, analyzes. It is the instrument of science. Intelligence is the instrument of religion; it joins together. Hence, the greatest science of spirituality we have called Yoga. Yoga means the methodology to join. Yoga means to put things together. God is the greatest totality, all things together. God is not a person, God is a presence, the presence when the total is functioning in a great harmony -- the trees and the birds and the earth and the stars and the moon and the sun and the rivers and the ocean -- all together. That togetherness is God. If you dissect, you will never find God. Dissect a man; you cannot find the presence that was making him alive. Dissect the world; you cannot find the presence that is God.
Intelligence is the method to join things together. An intelligent person is very synthetical. He always looks for a higher whole, because the meaning is always in the higher whole. He always looks for something higher in which the lower is dissolved and functions as a part, functions as a note in the harmony of the whole, gives its own contribution to the orchestra of the whole but is not separate from it. Intelligence moves upwards, intellect moves downwards. Intellect goes to the cause.
Please follow it; the point is delicate.
Intellect goes to the cause; intelligence goes to the goal. Intelligence moves into the future, intellect moves in the past. Intellect reduces everything to the lowest denominator. If you ask what love is, intellect will say it is nothing but sex -- the lowest denominator. If you ask what prayer is, the intellect will say it is nothing but repressed sex.
Ask intelligence what sex is, and intelligence will say it is nothing but the seed of prayer. It is the potential love. Intellect reduces to the lowest; it reduces everything to the lowest. Ask intellect what a lotus is, and it will say it is nothing, just an illusion; the reality is the mud -- because the lotus comes out of the mud and again falls back into the mud. The mud is the real, the lotus is just an illusion. Mud remains, the lotus comes and goes.
Ask intelligence what mud is, and intelligence will say, "It is the potentiality of being a lotus." Then mud disappears and millions of lotuses flower.
Intelligence goes to the higher and higher and the higher, and the whole effort is to reach to the ultimate, to the pinnacle of existence. Because things can be explained only through the higher, not through the lower. You don't explain through the lower, you explain away. And when the lower becomes too important, all beauty is lost, all truth, all good. Everything that has any significance is lost. Then you start crying, "Where is meaning in life?"
In the West, science destroyed every value and reduced everything to matter. Now everybody is worried about what is the meaning of life, because meaning exists in the higher whole. See, you are alone; you feel, "What is the meaning of life?" Then you fall in love with a woman; a certain meaning arises. Now two have become one -- a little higher. A single man is a little. Lower than a couple. A couple is a little higher. Two things have joined together. Two opposite forces have mingled, the feminine and the male energies. Now it is more of a circle.
That's why in India we have the concept of ARDHANARISHWAR. Shiva is painted as half woman and half man. The concept of ARDHANARISHWAR says that man is half, and woman is half. When a man and woman meet in deep love, a higher reality arises: certainly greater, more complex, because two energies are meeting.
Then a child is born; now there is a family -- more meaning. Now the father feels a meaning in his life: the child has to be brought up. He loves the child, he works hard, but work is now no longer work. He is working for his child, for his beloved, for his home. He works, but the hardness of the work has disappeared. He is not dragging it. Tired of the whole day, he comes home dancing. Seeing the smile on his child's face, he is tremendously happy. A family is a higher unit than the couple, and so on and so forth. And God is nothing but the communion of all, the greatest family of all.
That's why I go on calling these orange people my family. I would like you to disappear in the whole. I would like you to be so absorbed in the whole that you remain individual, but you become part of a greater unity, bigger than you. Meaning arises IMMEDIATELY whenever you become part of a greater unity.
When a poet writes a poem, meaning arises -- because the poet is not alone; he has created something. When a dancer dances, meaning arises. When a mother gives birth to a child, meaning arises. Left alone, cut from everything else, isolated like an island, you are meaningless. Joined together you are meaningful. The bigger the whole, the bigger is the meaning. That's why I say God is the biggest conceivable whole, and without God you cannot attain to the highest meaning. God is not a person; God is not sitting somewhere. Those ideas are just stupid. God is the total presence of existence, the being, the very ground of being.
GOD exists wherever there is union; wherever there is Yoga, God comes into existence. You are walking alone; God is fast asleep. Then suddenly you see somebody and you smile; God is awakened, the other has come in. Your smile is not isolated, it is a bridge. You have thrown a bridge towards the other. The other has also smiled, there has been a response. Between you both arises that space I call God -- a little throb. When you come to the tree and you sit by the side of the tree, completely oblivious to the existence of the tree, God is fast asleep. Then suddenly you look at the tree, and an upsurge of feeling for the tree and God has arisen.
Wherever there is love, God is; wherever there is response, God is. God is the space; it exists wherever union exists. That's why I say love is the purest possibility of God, because it is the subtlest union of energies.
Hence the insistence of the Bauls that love is God. Forget God, love will do. But never forget love, because God alone won't do.
Intelligence is discrimination, understanding. Truth is the key word, sat. The man who moves through intelligence moves towards SAT, truth.
Higher than intelligence is the sixth type of religion. I call it the religion of meditation.
Meditation is awareness, spontaneity, what the Bauls call SAHAJA MANUSH, the spontaneous man. Freedom -- it is non-traditional, it is radical, revolutionary, individual. The key word is CHIT, consciousness. Intelligence is still the highest form of intellect, intelligence is the purest form of intellect. The ladder is the same. Intellect is going downwards on the same ladder, intelligence is going upwards, but the ladder is the same. In meditation the ladder is thrown. Now, no more movement on the same ladder, neither upwards nor downwards. Now, no more movement, but a state of no-movement inside, a drowning into oneself, a sinking in.
Intellect is other-oriented; intelligence is also other-oriented. Intellect cuts the other, intelligence joins the other, but both are other-oriented. So if you understand rightly, the first four types of religion I don't call religion. They are pseudo-religions. Real religion starts with the fifth type, and that is the lowest, but REAL. The sixth type of religion is that of meditation, consciousness, CHIT. One simply moves into oneself. All directions are dropped, all dimensions dropped. One simply tries to be oneself, one simply tries just to be. That is where Zen exists, in the sixth type of religion. The very word 'Zen' means DHYANA, meditation.
Then comes the highest type of religion, the seventh: the religion of ecstasy, SAMADHI.
Just as the fifth type has the key word SAT, truth, and the sixth type, the religion of meditation, has the key word CHIT, consciousness, the seventh. the highest, has ANAND, bliss, ecstasy. That is the key word: SAT-CHIT-ANANDA, truth, consciousness, ecstasy.
The Bauls belong to the seventh type -- joy, celebration, song, dance, ecstasy -- ANAND. They make meditation tremendously joyful -- because a person can be meditative and can become sad. A person can be meditative and can become very silent and may miss bliss. Because meditation can make you silent, absolutely still, but unless dance happens in it, something is missing. Peace is good, peace is very beautiful, but something is lacking in it; bliss is lacking. When peace starts dancing it is bliss. When peace becomes active, overflowing, it is bliss. When bliss is enclosed in a seed it is peace. And when the seed has sprouted, not only that, but the tree has bloomed and the flowers have come and the seed has become a bloom, then it is SAMADHI. That is the highest type of religion.
Peace has to dance and silence has to sing. And unless your innermost realization becomes a laughter, something is still lacking. Something still has to be done.
That's where the Bauls enter. Their religion is that of ecstasy. Now the song for today:
THE MAN THAT BREATHES
LIVES ON THE AIR,
AND THE OTHER, UNSEEN,
RESTS ABOVE REACH.
BETWEEN THE TWO
MOVES ANOTHER MAN
AS A SECRET LINK.
WORSHIP KNOWINGLY.
The man that breathes, and the man that lives beyond... between these two there is a third man, the link: body, psyche, and soul. Or, you can use the Christian Trinity -- God, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
Body is THE MAN THAT BREATHES. By breathing, the body is alive. The breath goes into your body; it gives PRANA, vitality, to your body. Without breath the body would disappear, because without breath the body would be disconnected from the atmosphere. The atmosphere is continuously pouring its own being into your being. Exhaling, inhaling -- atmosphere is continuously keeping you alive, flowing, streaming. "The body," Bauls say, "is the first man."
Then there is a beyond which needs no breathing, which is eternally there, which needs nothing. That is the God of the Bauls. They call the essential man ADHAR MANUSH. And between the two is the psyche, the mind, or call it heart. Bauls call it heart; the Holy Ghost. It exists as a link.
The whole work has to be done in the psyche. On one pole of it exists the body, on the other pole, God. The whole work of discipline, of SADHANA, has to be done in the psyche. That is what meditation is all about.
THE MAN THAT BREATHES
LIVES ON THE AIR,
AND THE OTHER, UNSEEN,
RESTS ABOVE REACH.
BETWEEN THE TWO
MOVES ANOTHER MAN
AS A SECRET LINK.
WORSHIP KNOWINGLY.
The Bauls say that just worship won't do, but WORSHIP KNOWINGLY. The body has to worship the psyche, and the psyche has to worship the unseen. This is what they mean by 'worship knowingly'. Let your body follow your psyche, your heart, let your body follow your feelings, and let your feelings follow the unknown, the unseen. Then you are a worshipper. Then worship is not an ordinary ritual that you do in the temple; then worship is something that you do in your own being. That is your real temple.
IT IS A SPORT
AMONGST THE THREE OF THEM.
MY SEARCHING HEART,
WHOM DO YOU SEEK?
And the Bauls say it is a LEELA, a sport. These three are running, chasing each other: the body, the psyche, and the soul.
MY SEARCHING HEART,
WHOM DO YOU SEEK?
This word LEELA, sport, has to be understood. It is uniquely Eastern. In the West never has a concept like that ever arisen. In the West the concept of God is that of a worker, not of a player. The concept of God is of a creator, and the creation seems to be very serious. But the concept of LEELA is of fun, play. In the East we have known that God is not serious, and religion need not be serious. God is the greatest player; He is in a great play.
As a painter plays with the brush and the paint and the color on the canvas, out of play something arises. The painting can be done in two ways: you can be very serious about it -- but then you will be just a technician. You may do it perfectly well, but it will lack something: it will lack spirit. That is the difference between a technician and an artist. An artist has no plan. He simply sits before the canvas and starts playing. He is more childlike. Out of his play something arises. That is the best way to understand modern painting.
Modern painting is more Eastern than Western. Picasso is more Eastern than Western, because he is playing. That's why it is very difficult to understand modern painting. Classical painting is very simple to understand. It reproduces life exactly, it is a replica. It is more like photography -- mechanical. Modern painting is very difficult to understand. It is as difficult to understand as the flowers. Somebody asked Picasso -- seeing his painting he asked, "What does it mean?" Picasso said, "Nobody goes to the plants and asks, and nobody goes to the birds and asks,'What do you mean?' Why do you come to me, and me alone? Go to the plants and ask the flowers 'why?'"
A great LEELA goes on.
BOTANISTS have become aware of something very rare and meaningful. They have become aware that insects play with flowers and imitate flowers; they deceive flowers. Butterflies imitate flowers and deceive flowers. And on the other hand, flowers imitate insects and butterflies, and the play goes on. Lizards imitate rocks, and rocks imitate lizards. The great play continues, hide-and-seek.
LEELA is a beautiful concept. It relaxes you tremendously, absolutely. If God is in LEELA, then don't be serious and don't keep long faces; there is no need. Become more playful. Life is a sport. Look at life with the eyes of play, non-seriously. The difference is tremendous.
You go on a street to your office; then you have a totally different mind -- tense, ambitious, worried, stressed. On the same route you go for a morning walk -- the road is the same, the trees are the same, the birds are the same, the sky is the same, you are the same, the people passing are the same. But when you go for a morning walk you have no stress, no tension, because you are not going anywhere in particular. It is just a morning walk -- you are enjoying it, you are playful.
Prayer is a play. So if you go to the temple and you become very serious, you will miss the temple. Go to the temple to laugh, go to the temple to enjoy, go to the temple to celebrate.
The Bauls sing,
I have no knowledge
of my own self.
If for once
I could know what I am,
the unknown would be known.
God is nearby
and yet far away --
like the mountain hiding
behind my streaming hair.
I travel distant towns
of Dakar and Delhi
constantly searching,
but circling round my own knees.
God is alive
in my living form.
Only purity of heart
will lead me to Him.
The more I study
the wisdom of the Vedas,
the more I am bewildered.
I am blind
in spite of my eyes.
Only purity of heart
will lead me to Him.
God is alive
in my own living form.
Never in my life
did I once face the man
who lives in my own little room.
My eyes blinded
by the weight of storms
can see nothing, even when He stirs.
My hands fail
to reach His hands
as He is forever engaged
with the world.
I keep silent when they call Him
the word of life,
and the water
and the fire
and the earth
and the air,
while no one is sure.
Could I ever wish to know
anyone else?
I do not yet know
my own little room....
THE Bauls say if you can know your own little room, you will know all -- because He is there. He is in the body as the breathing man. He is in the psyche as your intelligence, awareness, meditation. And He is beyond you. Move slowly: let the body follow feeling, let the feeling follow the unknown. Don't move through knowledge, move through feeling, and then you will be in tune with God.
He does not dwell
in the complex of stars,
nor in limitless space.
He is not found
in the ethical scriptures
or in the texts of the Vedas.
He lives beyond
the existence of all.
The man is here,
in his form without form
to adorn the hamlet of my limbs
and the sky above
in the glow of his feelings,
the platform of spontaneous matter.
Even matter, the body, is spontaneous. That is his platform. The man is here!
If you fail to recognize
your own heart,
can you ever come to know
the great unknown?
The farthest away
will be nearest to you
and the unknown within your knowing.
Fill up your home
with the world abroad,
and you will attain
the unattainable man.
Open your heart to the skies, to the unknown, to the unfamiliar. Don't move with knowledge, because knowledge means that which you have already known. That's why the Vedas won't help. Veda means knowledge; the very word 'veda' means knowledge. It comes from a root VED, which means 'to know'. Hence, the Bauls' continuous criticism of the Vedas. Knowledge is not going to help.
Move into the unknown, wait for the unknown to knock at your door. You simply wait -- alert, expectant, ready to receive, with a feeling heart, and being playful.
BETWEEN THE DOORS
OF BIRTH AND DEATH,
STANDS YET ANOTHER DOOR,
WHOLLY INEXPLICABLE.
HE WHO IS ABLE
TO BE BORN
AT THE DOOR OF DEATH,
IS DEVOTED ETERNALLY....
DIE BEFORE DYING,
DIE LIVING.
A very significant secret: between the doors of birth and death, stands yet another door... that door is what we call love. Have you watched? Between birth and death there is nothing else to happen but love. If you miss love between birth and death, you have missed the whole opportunity of life. You may gather knowledge and you may gather valuable stones, and you may gather money and prestige and power, but if you have missed love, then you have missed the real door.
The first door, the door of birth, is simply an opportunity to move through the second door, the door of love. Between birth and death is love. In fact, life exists only to give an opportunity to love and be loved. If that is missed, all is missed. If that is not missed, then even if you have missed all, nothing is missed. And this door of love is REAL death. The other death that will come in the end is not real, because you will survive it. You will be reborn again. As death follows birth, so birth follows death. They are two aspects of the same coin. But if you move into the door of love, then you die, and you die so totally that then there is no birth for you, and of course, no death. Love is the real death because the ego disappears completely.
In ordinary death the body disappears, ego remains, and that carries you into new lives. That is the whole thread of rebirth. Once that thread is broken and the root is cut, you disappear from the world of matter, from the world of the visible into the world of the invisible, the beyond, the other shore.
BETWEEN THE DOORS
OF BIRTH AND DEATH,
STANDS YET ANOTHER DOOR,
WHOLLY INEXPLICABLE.
HE WHO IS ABLE
TO BE BORN
AT THE DOOR OF DEATH,
IS DEVOTED ETERNALLY....
That is what Bauls call the real door of death.
DIE BEFORE DYING,
DIE LIVING.
If you can die before dying, that is, if you can pass through the door of love, if you can die living, then there is no death for you. Then you have become deathless, then you are immortal, then you are a God. Then you are no more part of the material world where bodies are formed and where bodies are de-formed. Then you are no more into the world of forms, of creation, destruction; you are beyond. That beyond is already in you.
The man is here. It is right now, in this moment, here. But you will have to pass through the alchemy of love, otherwise you will never know it.
The Bauls sing,
Reaching for reality
is lame talk
to describe the goal
of the lover-worshipper.
He will attain
the great unattainable.
Stare at the face
of the invisible one
bearing the nectar of love.
How can I capture the man
who is not to be caught?
He lives on the other bank
of the river,
and the skin of my eyes
screens my sight.
The body screens your sight. If you become too identified with the body, it becomes a barrier, Reverse the process: let the body follow the heart, not the heart the body. If the heart has to follow the body, body becomes a barrier. Then you cannot reach the other shore. If the body follows the heart, the body becomes the boat.
Where is the home
of the moon?
And what makes
the cycle of the days
wander, encircling
the moving nights?
The lunar eclipse
in the night of the full moon
is known to all.
But no one enquires
about the blackened moon
on the darkest night
of the month.
He who is able
to make the full moon rise
in the sky
of the darkest night,
has a right to claim
the glory of the three worlds --
the heaven, the earth and the other spheres.
"He who is able to make the full moon rise in the sky of the darkest night"...that is their description of love.
A LOVER is capable of creating life out of death; he can do the miracle. He can make the moon rise in the darkest night. That's why there is a fear about love. I have observed thousands of people trembling whenever they are on the threshold of love, afraid. Why does so much fear come out of love.
Erich Fromm has written a beautiful book in which he says that love seems to be one of the most risky things, one of the most dangerous. And there is tremendous fear in humanity about love. People talk about love; they may be talking just to deceive themselves. Their talk may be just a substitute to give them a feeling that they are lovers. But people are afraid of love. It gives fear, because love is death. Your ego has to be dropped completely, utterly effaced. It is suicide. Fear is natural, but if you are courageous enough and you can pass through it, if you can carry the cross of love on your shoulders, resurrection is certain. The moment ego is dropped, you are born.
He who knows
the essence of love,
fears none.
Devoted only
to love's own form,
alive before his eyes,
his home is in
happiness itself.
Lulling lust
by lust alone
he raids the heart of the God
that churns all hearts,
finding himself
in perennial love.
Let your heart be a caring home
for the man of your heart.
Focus your vision
through the eye-black of loving.
He will be floating
on the mercurial mirror.
Hours wither like broken games
on the playground of the earth.
Abandon search
and join the carnival of love.
Abandon search
and join the carnival of love....

The Bauls say just intellectual search, seeking, is not going to help. "Join the carnival of love": that is what prayer is, that-is what worship is.

Be ecstatic, joyful, celebrating, singing, dancing. Let God be allowed to be playful through you. Let playfulness be your only prayer. Let joy be your only worship.
